==Early Life==
Matez moved to Daau at the age of 12 with his family due to his father's job. He started learning football in Daau and joined Daas FC's academy at the age of 13.

== Senior Career==

===Early career===
Matez penned his first ever professional contract at the age of 17 for Daas FC. The youngster would appear 53 times for the club over 3 years and score a total of 15 goals.

On deadline day of the 20/21 season, [[Trifold FC]] announced the signing of Matez from Daas for DR 23k. He would only stay in Krasnovlac for two seasons to fullfil his contract and left the club after 32 games while scoring only 2 goals.

===Aeland Krasno Natives Daau===
AKN(D) announced that Matez would join the club on a free after his contract with [[Trifold FC]] expired. Matez would manage to net twice in 3 appearances before being demoted to the reserve side and sent packing home by the manager due to internal issues and disputes between him and the manager. 

Matez would depart the club on the evening of 1st January 2023 following growing concerns.

===Bintang Lukana===
Matez would sign for Bintang Lukana following contract termination with AKN(D) and would be assigned the number 8. He would make his long awaited debut coming on for Clover bin Clover in a 1-0 victory over Daau United. 

Junior would leave the club after only making 10 appearances following the end of his contract.

===Cheetahs XII FC===
Matez would sign a 1 year deal with Matabese developmental side Cheetahs XII in hopes of gaining regular gametime.

==Personal Life==
Matez is eligible for Dauian citizenship due to him fullfilling his 5 year stay in Daau.

His family have settled in Daas in Daau.
