WHEREAS the dedicated service, proud loyalty and shared vision of Our subjects is a privilege to have and a commitment We have the pleasure to honour;

WHEREAS We wish to ensure the importance and stature of Our landed peerages and provide them as the greatest honour that can be bestowed upon one person;

LET IT BE KNOWN that We of Our especial grace, certain knowledge and mere motion do by these presents create Our trusted and beloved citizen [[Thomas Maher|Sir Thomas Maher O.C., K.E.]] the state, degree, style, dignity, title and honor of [[Montefeltro (Duchy)|Duke of Montefeltro]];

AND for Us, Our heirs and successors do appoint, give and grant unto him the said named state, degree, style, dignity, title and honour of Duke of Montefeltro and by these Presents do dignify invest and ennoble him to have and to hold the said named state, degree, style, dignity, title and honour for the duration of his citizenship.

AND that this peerage be for life, returned to the Crown upon his resignation of citizenship or departure from Our Kingdom;

AND We do further direct and enjoin that this Royal Decree shall be read and proclaimed in such places as appropriate within the Royal Kingdom of Gotzborg.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused this Our Royal Decree by the affixation of the Royal Seal of the Kingdom to be published, by witness Ourself at Lonenberg Palace this eighth day of September in the seventeenth year of Our reign.
