*After 1650, a vast influx of political prisoners and other undesirables saw the Dragonsfold Gaol expand to the dimensions of a prisoner of war or concentration camp. Privileged prisoners continued to be held within the confines of the old palace complex whilst those less fortunate were incarcerated within the external barbed wire enclosures and set to work building their own barrack huts. 
**49,541 recalcitrant [[Froyalanish Ancient Ways|Vanic clergy]] and [[Froyalanish|Froyalaners]] who refused deportation orders were detained at satellite camps constructed around Dragonsfold. These will subsequently be ''evacuated to the west'' for resettlement.
