The '''Department of Housing and Urban Development''' is the department that establishes and coordinates national housing policy and urban planning, including the development, maintenance, and improvement of urban and rural communities. It also handles re-development, gentrification, and housing rights.

The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is a member of the [[Council of State of Nouvelle Alexandrie|Council of State]].

The department was established in {{AN|1718}} to administer the housing projects and urban development. is headquartered at East Meadow Tower Building, in the Government Triangle neighborhood of [[Cardenas|Cárdenas, FCD]]. It took over certain aspects of the Department of Civil Works and Transportation, particularly the Housing and Urban Development divisions.
