The '''Constitution of the Third Republic of [[Sankt Ludwigshafen]]''' was adopted in VI.1696. Its adoption marked the end of a period of anarchy that started with the demise of the Second Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen in XV.1693 during the [[Ludwigshafener Civil War]]. The constitution is based on the understanding of its authors, notably [[Adam Rettich]] and [[Thomas de Louisville]] of the teachings of the [[Ludwiggian Reformed Church]]. 

The preamble of the constitution begins with a lamentation that the constitution is only necessary because of the fallen nature of the people of Micras. It continues by saying that there will be a final redemption in the future, making the constitution obsolete. In the meantime, the republic will have to be established as a fallible and imperfect redemptive project.
