View source for 1680 Assembléa Nazionale election

The '''{{PAGENAME}}''' was the second open election held in the [[Tellian Confederation]] to establish the [[Assembléa Nazionale]] parliament. Held under a mixed-member proportional representation system, the assembly's 500 seats were split between ten constituencies whose seats are allocated by respective population.

The election resulted in the [[Labour Party (Tellia)|Labour Party]] gaining the most seats, with the party entering into a minority coalition government alongside both the [[Tellian Liberal Party|Liberal Party]] and [[Tellian Communist Party|Communist Party]] in what has come to be known as the Socialist Alliance.
