Kaiser '''Gaelen I''' was the ruler of [[Shireroth]] between 1449 and 1461 AN. During his reign, the weakened [[Youya Dynasty]] of [[Jingdao]] crumbled and was eventually replaced by a ruling class of his own: the [[Jierdai Dynasty]]. His military campaign successfully crushed military resistance in the south of the Jingdaoese mainland, while also offered a springboard to pacify the northern, less developed territories.

His name lives on in the little sea town [[Gaelen's Landing]], in the [[Zhaoqin]] Province.
