Several nations have claimed the islands prior to their declaration of statehood. First such claim was under [[Menelmacar]]i rule by {{AN|1478}}, when the islands were incorporated into the region of Forod Jaiha. Notable nations denoting sovereignty over the land include [[Riponia]], [[CIS]], [[Netherlands]], [[Natlandist Monovia]], [[Haifo-Pallisica]] and [[Çakaristan]].

On 15.X.{{AN|1739|noAN=y}}, the [[ESB Group]] [[When razzia becomes revolution|landed on the island of Brezovo]], (then named ''ESB Isle Northwest''), marking the first known human presence. A small military contigent was present on the island, until they withdrew under unknown circumstances in mid-{{AN|1741|noAN=y}}, concluding the failed [[Constancia]]n settlement plans.

In 1741, [[Damek Kmitsan]], an [[Ocia|Ocian]]-born tradesman known for his extensive trade networks with Retic communities across [[Micras]], began searching for suitable sites to establish a colony. Kmitsan, having interest in Retic culture and the study of fallen Retic societies, sought physically isolated and easily habitable location, favoring islands or archipelagos that could support a self-sufficient Retic settlement.

After four exploratory expeditions between 1741 and {{AN|1742|noAN=y}} to two northwestern Corum islands previously briefly inhabited by Constancian ESB Group, Kmitsan determined that the climate and basic living conditions were favorable. He began advertising his colonization plan and preparing a larger expedition to settle the islands, which he named ''Brezovo'' and ''Yavorina'', after the predominant local flora on each island respectively: birch trees (''бреза/breza'') and maples (''јавор/yavor'').

The plan to colonize Brezovo and Yavorina was carefully prepared over a period of four years prior to the arrival of the first permanent settlers. The planning process addressed demographic, infrastructural, resource, and logistical concerns.

The first inhabitants, consisting primarily of skilled agricultural, construction and medical workers originating from former Ocian regions, lived and worked in prefabricated buildings. Residential prefabricated structures, known as ''[[spalna]]s'', were mostly designed with shared sleeping quarters and always included a common room intended for leisure and social activities. These buildings were equipped with basic utilities, including electricity during necessary hours, a water supply, and a wood-based heating system.

In addition to residential units, other essential prefabricated buildings played a key role in pre-colonization period. These included communal kitchens, hospitals, workshops, buildings housing state administration, and basic infrastructure facilities. As permanent, solid buildings were constructed to replace them, the prefabricated structures were gradually dismantled and relocated to other locations where they were needed.

The first wave of permanent settlers was marked by the settling of the first permanent buildings, therefore awaited a new period of colonization.

==Legal framework==
The military doctrine of BYSF is defined by law and is based on the principle of military neutrality, while also regulating the actions of the armed forces, the government and its institutions, as well as general population and the economy as a whole in the event of an invasion or violation of the sovereignty of Brezovo and Yavorina.

Although the forces maintain a position of military neutrality, they may act if it is determined by Voivodat that a military threat could be neutralized or deeply mitigated through armed intervention prior to an initial attack or invasion against the sovereignty of Brezovo and Yavorina.

In peace-time, members of the Naval Security Forces hold the greatest authority out of all branches, as their powers enable them to protect vessels under national interests not only within the country's territorial waters, but also the international waters.

The Ground Security Forces and Air Security Forces may operate outside the territory of Brezovo and Yavorina if exceptionally engaged in operations conducted by the Naval Security Forces, or in the event of territorial expansion of the state’s sovereignty into internationally recognized "[[Green]]" territories.

Vanko Ivanov was born in {{AN|1700|noAN=y}} in [[Kyustendil]], to father Nazaren Ivanov and mother Elitsa Ivanova. His father was a truck driver. He attended most of his primary education in his native city, where he demonstrated exceptional ability from an early age. Owing to financial circumstances, his family relocated to [[Senya]]n city of [[Eprat]] in {{AN|1711|noAN=y}}, where Ivanov continued to achieve outstanding results in his education. Ivanov completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in international relations at the [[University of Svorgas]].

Throughout his career, Ivanov worked for numerous state and international organizations and companies in Senya, as well as for various Retic NGOs and INGOs, most notably the [[Society of Yeshua]]. He was also periodically engaged as an international journalist. In {{AN|1740|noAN=y}}, he joined [[Damekom|Damécom]], where he contributed to expanding the company’s trade opportunities and growth through his established global influence and access to a wide range of international markets.

==Legal framework==
The military doctrine of BYSF is defined by law and is based on the principle of military neutrality, while also regulating the actions of the armed forces, the government and its institutions, as well as general population and the economy as a whole in the event of an invasion or violation of the sovereignty of Brezovo and Yavorina.

Although the forces maintain a position of military neutrality, they may act if it is determined by Voivodat that a military threat could be neutralized or deeply mitigated through armed intervention prior to an initial attack or invasion against the sovereignty of Brezovo and Yavorina.

In peace-time, members of the Naval Security Forces hold the greatest authority out of all branches, as their powers enable them to protect vessels under national interests not only within the country's territorial waters, but also the international waters.

The Ground Security Forces and Air Security Forces may operate outside the territory of Brezovo and Yavorina if exceptionally engaged in operations conducted by the Naval Security Forces, or in the event of territorial expansion of the state’s sovereignty into internationally recognized "[[Green]]" territories.

|The use of corporal punishment by teachers is seen to be a grave abuse of authority in itself. Ralgons strongly frown upon the use of pain for parents and teachers for the sake of pain itself. Instead, light punishments for children (and those sentenced to community service) includes labor and exercise until the child is rendered deeply uncomfortable is the norm. The Ralgons want children growing up to feel loyal to their family and to the state, as well as avoid the cost of rehabilitating a damaged child. The Ralgons also follow the ancient saying, ''"Either they grow up smart, or they grow up strong. Regardless of the result, they will grow up useful to both gods and country."''

Corporal punishment differs from Ralgons who serve in the military in any capacity. In the military, recruits are punished (according to offense) with compulsory exercise, extra duty, reduction in rank, or even (temporary) stripping of citizenship and sent to the Auxiliaries (an already painful prospect). Only in the Auxiliaries is flogging used as a default punishment (and never for rare citizens in this branch of the army), since the Auxiliaries usually consist almost entirely of prisoners who chose military service to redeem their honor (and possibly citizenship) than prison time followed by transportation, or personnel temporarily sent there from the Legion as punishment.

For more severe offenses that would otherwise lead to transportation, prison time is used, and it is there that flogging is used to preserve order. In cases of death, harsh corporal punishment is sometimes used weaken a prisoner who is sentenced to some form of death ''ad gladium'' or with exile (unarmed) to the Swamp. Other especially painful death sentences are used in which the authorities deem a violent non-citizen convict too dangerous to be kept alive. Painless death sentences are used only when a higher power commutes the sentence from a long/life prison sentence or painful death.
