Currently, the land claims of the People's Republic of Graecia are limited to one relatively small island surrounded by the Keltian continent, and has no land borders. However, the State has defined an area which is the claimed '''maritime and aerial border of the [[People's Republic of Graecia]]'''.
Graecia has not signed a number of treaties that allegedly help to define a nations's territorial waters, so their claims to not come in compliance with them; however, as it is not a signatory to such treaties, and it has never received any complain about this, Graecia is unlikely to change the border (except if it expands, which was something likely until recent events).

The border has an egg-like shape; speaking without details, it can be measured with the help of the coastal cities of Graecia. It can be reached at 598km. from Ersoy, 250km. from Cliffton, and 300km. from Erythropolis. Unite these 3 points, and the border is made.
With these taken in mind, and not forgetting the recent expansions made by Graecia's neighbors, Graecia is surrounded by the territorial waters of two nations: [[The Hexarchy]] in the northwest, north and northeast, the [[Haifo-Pallisican Imperial Trade Union]] in the east, southeast, south and southwest. A four-nation point, which is marked by the Graecian government as ''Point West'', is, as such, created on the western border, between the Hexarchy, Graecia, the Imperial Trade Union and [[Alduria-Wechua]]; This is the only point when the latter borders Graecia. A three-nation point, marked ''Point East'' is also located on the eastern side, again shared between the Hexarchy, Graecia, and the Imperial Trade Union.
Some controlled areas of [[Phinbella]] are separated from Graecia by the Imperial Trade Union's coastal area.
The border is demarcated by buoys on it's entire length. The buoys are Graecian-made, and fly two flags: The [[Flag of Graecia]] on the Graecian side, and the flag of the bordering nation, from their side. When there is heavy rain, a patrol boat removes the textile-made flags; so, to avoid confusion in these cases, the flags are also painted on each side of the buoy.
An exception on this is the previously mentioned ''Point West'' and ''Point East'', where a special buoy is located; it only flies the Graecian flag, but it is bigger in side and has an silver plaque which has inscribed the words ''PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF GRAECIA / Workers of the world, UNITE!''.

Both Graecia and Alduria-Wechua have banned any movement of goods from one another. The only location the two nations are bordering is on ''Point West''; So, their border is very small, and hard to reach. However, to prevent illicit activities, and to guard against possible hostile actions by Alduria-Wechua, the [[Graecian Navy]] has established there a patrol unit consisting of a frigate and five patrol boats, which change on a monthly basis. [[Football]] is an important sport in the [[People's Republic of Graecia]]; even if the nation has been yet known in the inter-Micras sport scene, the Graecian state has invested heavily on Football. In the daily life of the Graecians, football provides, for the common people, a good daily excercise, to forget their tough daily problems.

==History==
Football appeared in Graecia when it's claim was finally accepted. One of the first actions of the new state was to construct sporting facilities in the main cities of the nation, so as sporting teams could develop. The First ever football tournament in Graecia, the first State Football Tournament of Graecia (see below), was completed in {{AN|1687}} and determined the composition of the [[Graecia national football team|National Team.]] The National team has not participated in any international games or competitions yet.

==Regulatory organisations==
There is not yet a special organization that manages the Graecian football scene; it is administered directly by the state. It is believed that, once a special organisation is formed about football, much problems will find a solution.

==Problems==
Graecia is still a very poor, totalitarian state; The Graecian government already spent a large portion of it's minuscule budget on building the arenas that the teams would play, so it has cut temporarily any more investment in football. As such, the regional teams, when playing outside of Graecia, do wear the potential kits of the Graecian national team; even worse, when they play inside Graecia, because the government cannot finance the creation of special kits for them, they often use home-made clothes to play, which are of varying quality and design. Some also claim that the stadiums outside [[Salonigrad (Graecia)|Salonigrad]] (the capital city) have serious problems with their terrain.

The Graecian flag is based on the flag of the non-Micras nation of Turkmenistan; It also takes inspiration by historical flags of Socialist states. It's proportions are 2:3
It has got both praisal and criticism, mainly for the fact that it is considered too complex.
==Symbolism==
The red background symbolises socialism. The Hammer and Sickle represents Communism, while the star symbolises the state and the goals that shall be acomplished.
The carpet pattern symbolises the Graecian people (and, to some extent, all the micrasians), who are all united under the state, and work harmonically for the benefit of all. The two crossed leafs in the bottom of the pattern symbolise the fact that the people are the most significant element of the state.

However, citizens of the [[Haifo-Pallisican Imperial Trade Union]] and the [[Chryse|Imperial City and Exarchate of Chryse]] can obtain the Friendly Nation Visa (currently only offered to them), which has relaxed application requirements and more freedom.
These policies are valid for the entirety of the Graecian state; as such, they also have legal force on the [[Dervenian Autonomous People's Republic]], located on Planet Argon.

==Procedure for a Graecian citizen to leave and re-enter Graecia==
Any Graecian who wishes to visit another nation must follow the visa procedures described by it. However, in addition to this, he shall also some procedures before he leaves.
In detail: When a Graecian plans a visit to a foreign nation, he shall submit a request to the Government to describe the destination, details of the visit, and reason for it. If approved, he can start booking tickets, hotels, and the rest necessary things. Before the subject leaves for the trip, he shall undertake an written oath or affirmation that he will follow all the laws of Graecia and the host state, and that he will not give details that could harm the State, or acquire a foreign citizenship.
If the traveller defects, the State asks the host state to arrest him and give him to Graecian authorities, where he will face accusations of High Treason. If the host nation does not do so, members of the [[Graecian police]] will arrest the traveler, and the State will seek a comprehension from the host nation.

==Procedure for foreign citizens to obtain a visa (from most of the world)==
Obtaining a visa to enter Graecia is difficult. Firstly, an foreign national shall visit the Graecian Embassy of his nation to make a formal request. Graecia has very few embassies around the world, so, in most cases, the potential traveler may need to travel to a country with a Graecian embassy first. The formal request shall contain these information:
# Full name
# Nation of current citizenship
# Nation of current residentship (if different from the above)
# Current occupation (people with certain professions may not be given a visa)
# Reason for visit.
If the subject also presents an verifiable invitation from a Graecian citizen, this will greatly increase the chances of actually gaining a visa.
The Graecian embassy will then process the data given. If they satisfy the embassy that they are true and the person does not posess danger to the state, the Embassy will communicate with the nation that the subject claims to be a citizen of, to verify them and ask for further info. If someone comes from a nation that Graecia has a war (none currently), the request will be automatically declined.
The info that the embassy will typically request is any criminal record, health problems of the applicant, and any reported intention to terrorise-rebel.

In this case, the nation that the subject is citizen of shall request the graecian government to relieve it's subject from prison and oversee his return to his homeland.

==Friendly Nation Visa==
A Friendly Nation Visa is a visa currently offered tho citizens of non-communist nations Graecia has formal friendly relations and has agreements with. Currently, this type of visa is only offered to the citizens of the [[Haifo-Pallisican Imperial Trade Union]] and the [[Chryse|Imperial City and Exarchate of Chryse]].
Foreign subjects holding such a visa have theese extra benefits:
# There is no time limit about their stay,
# The Visa Issuing Tax is significantly lower,
# They do not enter or exit the country with the escort of the Graecian Police,
# The application procedure is much less time-consuming and bureaucratic, and
# The limit on what they can do on their stay on Graecia is much lower.
Additionally, subjects that would otherwise apply for a special visa (eg., athletes) can enter Graecia without any visa at all, provided they limit their activities to ones needed for their proffesion.

First, the applicant submits a formal request on the Graecian embassy. This formal request usually shall contain:

# Proof that the subject is indeed from a friendly nation (eg, ID card or birth certificate)

The embassy would communicate with the nation to verify the data given; if they are valid, the applicant will be requested to assure that he will follow all Graecian laws (usually by an oath or an affirmation). The Graecian goverment would not require a visa of any sort from a subject who is a citizen of a Communist state. Citizens of communist states are free to enter for any timeframe they wish (provided it is allowed by their state), and are as equall to what they can do as Friently Nation Visa holders.
However, this is vacant; Currently, Graecia is the only recognised Communist state on Micras; This means that, every foreign subject who is a citizen of a state must obtain a visa to enter Graecia. One more factor that would render this potentially useless is that a fellow communist state, if it is ever created, may enact laws that forbid freedom of movement with Graecia.
==Stateless people==
A person who is not a citizen of any state (usually, people residing in the unclaimed areas of Micras (the Green)) is not allowed entrance in Graecia. They may be allowed entrance in two cases:
# They may be allowed entrance, if they were a fighter fighting for a revolutionary group that wanted to topple a capitalist or monarchist regime and establish a communist one, their rebellion failed, and, been prosecuted by their home country, seek asylum on Graecia. They may be also granted citizenship, if their home one is revoked.
# They may also be allowed entrance, if they show signs that they understand Graeco-Communist ideologies and want to become citizens of Graecia.
==States that the goverment prohibts movement==
There is a case that the Graecian goverment would ban movement of people between it and another state; Citizens of that state would not be allowed to visit Graecia, and vise-versa.

Traditionally, nomadic and without a central governance within them, they are a tribal people where loyalties are found within select tribes or families. Since 1687, the Tarr people is divided with half of them residing in Shireroth as [[Shirerithian_neofeudalism#Protected_persons|protected persons of the Kaiseress]], one quarter of them in [[Chryse]], and one quarter in Chryse's agricultural colony [[Laegel]].

== History ==

The Graecian state has not managed to find the real origins of the Tarr people, but they seem to originate from mainland central Keltia. This would put them in the Atterano-Skerrian family of nations, probably bearing a degree of kinship, and reprehensibility, with the [[Dromosker]] and [[Androphagi]] in consequence.

In Greacia, the Tarr people are associated with violence, gang warfare, and drug trade. The Graecian government has repeatedly tried, but failed, to organize this people in a communist society. It is also unknown why they have such contra-revolutionary behaviour, but the Graecian state believes that they developed such behaviours in so in the period in-between the collapse of Taeland and the foundation of Graecia, when the island of Graecia was abandoned.

As Graecian authorities have pointed out before, they are very difficult to control. They have found a series of ways to manipulate the young and inexperienced Graecian police, either by bribing State officers (many of whom are facing trials of high treason), or creating false accusations of police violence, so the police has been unable do deal with them. Graecia accuses the Tarr people of not wanting to integrate with the society. The vast majority of Graecians works in the factories, only to understand that their taxes are spent on the failed attempts of the State to integrate these people into society; While the median Graecian has his daily money from working, the Tarr receive more by just exploiting the integration money given to them by the state and committing robberies.

In 1687, Graecia hinted that mass killing of the Tarr people might be the only solution facing the Graecian society, lest the entire society might collapse. Chryse objected to this language, and Graecia called on Chryse to assist. As such, Chryse and Graecia concluded the [[Chryse–Graecia Friendship Treaty]] in which they, among other things, decided to transfer the entirety of the Tarr nation to Chrysean protection. Chryse, realizing too late that it could impossibly house close to a million people in its small city state, established with the help of the House of Laegel an agricultural colony of the same name in the Antilles where one quarter of the Tarr nation went. One quarter was taken to Chryse's city state, and half of all Tarr were granted the status of [[Shirerithian_neofeudalism#Protected_persons|protected people of the Kaiseress]] in [[Shireroth]].

The '''[[People's Republic of Graecia]]''' was founded on {{AN|1685}}. It was originally founded as a communist Marxist-Lenninist nation claiming Graecia Island (former [[Taeland]]).
While all seemed to function properly when the nation made it's first steps, later on problems came. Members of the [[Communist Party of Graecia|vanguard party]] were corrupt or not really interested in their work, and, as such, the nation became ungovernable. So, the Premier and Founder decided that something should change.
==Reforms==
Firstly, the so-called 'First State'' is dissolved. Many of it's pieces (eg; name, flag, emblem) remain the same.
The most important change is the dissolution of the Communist Party of Graecia, the rulling and only legal party of the First State. All of it's powers are transferred to the Premier. It's Flag and the title of it's General Secretary (title aslo held by mr. Friedriechsen) are now considered void.
Lastly, the state shifts from Marxism-Lenninism to Graeco-Marxism, a new ideology mostly based on Marxism, but with some new elements. Theese elements are the absense of a need for any party, a somehow more liberal economy, a state-regulated national currency (different in it's form from the one Marxist-Lenninist countries had), and, controlled state secularism (in oposition to state atheism).
