Travelling to Sayaffallah
As you enter the country one of the first things you will see invariably are the swaying palm trees and the beautiful lakes stretching across the horizon and the closer you get to the coast the more temperate the climate and yet if you were to travel north you would eventually come upon towering mountainous peaks with small villages dotting its ridges and crags and valleys. The country's geographic appeal is diverse and one of the prime reasons that so many come to visit its teaming shores year after year. Sayaffallah enjoys a moderate climate in its southern stretches and a sub arctic climate in its most northern areas which provides significant to extreme levels of snowfall during the cold and brutal winter months. Meanwhile the south enjoys nearly year round sunshine and significant amounts of heat filled days stretching from the brilliant days of summer into the shorter days of winter.

Sayaffallah has a modern transportation infrastructure extending from its coast to its heartland composed of high speed rail networks and interconnected ferry transports and of course one of the world's most thriving general aviation communities with regular commercial and private flights to the major and regional cities of Sayaffallah. The primary mode of transportation is of course through the vast motorways that dot the country and many choose this method of travel because of the low cost of petrol in this oil producing country. Sayaffallah does not have a formal speed limit requirement but instead relies on strict rules for driver etiquette and behavior penalizing those who are responsible for speed related crashes with a demonstrated severity ranging from jail time to steep fines. As a result the number of speed related fatalities are quite low, the main cause of death on the motorways comes from vehicle/animal collisions as the sprawl of urban areas prompts greater encounters between the native wildlife of Sayaffallah and its human residents.

The rail system of Sayaffallah has received great acclaim in recent months and years and has seen significant growth as it has become formally extended from its traditional operation area in the coastal and central areas of the country to now the far northern stretches which in the past have only been accessible by vehicle and traditional oxen/plow methods of reaching isolated communities. As the rail system expands so have the communities of Sayaffallah and one of the primary concerns of its residents is the problem of urban sprawl. In the most recent elections the parliament was given a resounding answer that the number one issue facing residents was that of congestion in the cities and its transportation networks. Since that election the parliament has voted to increase the size and scope of the rail networks to alleviate road congestion and to provide greater service to smaller towns across the country.

Government system
Sayaffallah is an absolute monarchy with a consultative parliament. His Excellency the Sultan, Amir, makes all final decisions and can override decisions at his discretion made by the parliament but this seldom happens. Many outside observers suggest that this system is more of a parliamentary monarchy and this might be true but in his benevolence the Sultan has decided that the form of government will be called an absolute monarchy with consultative assembly.

Parliament
Parliament of the Nation

The parliament is elected of representatives of every region in the country. Each region is given 5 representatives for a total of 120 regions which gives 600 representatives for the session of parliament. Parliament lasts from January 1 through January 1 with elections taking place December 1-5 in a staggered format across the regions. That means each day for 5 days there are 24 elections for 24 regions a day for a total of all 120 regions. Parliamentary representatives are paid a stipend amount for all expenses directly from the private treasury of the Sultan so that no compensation of the assembly comes from taxation of the citizens of the country.

The Parliament has the following duties:
*Establish new laws
*Provide oversight of the infrastructure
*Provide oversight of the judiciary
*Provide oversight of the media (propaganda against the Sultan is forbidden)
*Provide for disaster relief and emergency response during crises
*Remove old laws

Sultan
Sultan of the Empire

For each duty the Sultan is required to provide his consent or dissent. The Sultan has the following duties:
*Declare war/make peace
*Raise/lower taxes
*Declare heir/successor
*Make religious pronouncements
*Conduct and control diplomacy

It is worth noting that the Sultan does not have authority to dismiss or disband the Parliament and the Parliament likewise does not have the authority to investigate, charge or dismiss the Sultan. Those who are currently sitting members of parliament are immune from prosecution except for Crown Offenses which are the most serious crimes (murder, treason, rape, etc). In the event that a member of parliament is brought to trial for a Crown Offense their seat is voided until the next election.

Healthcare
The healthcare system is built around the Trilogy Concept which serves as the guiding principle for the governance of the hospital system within Sayaffallah. The hospital system is governed by the Sayaffallah Ministry of Health which is responsible for ensuring that the accreditation body is maintaining the correct level of accountability and that each hospital is provided with an allocation of appropriate workforce for operating. Every region has a hospital center that provides acute and emergency care with a step up facility in the central part of the country. The hospital centers ensure that each region (120 in total) has the ability to provide the best possible level of care to its people and to ensure that staffing is proportionately shared amongst all the applicable hospitals.

There has been recent movements to privatize care and several privatized clinics have popped up in rural towns in the more isolated parts of Sayaffallah and those clinics have been small enough to escape accreditation by the government body. Accreditation is a required process for all medical services in Sayaffallah and it ensures that they meet a modicum standard of cleanliness, standard practice and a reduced fatality rate. If a hospital consistently receives an improvement alert their board of governors will be summoned by the Ministry of Health to explain remedial steps they will take to improve upon the suggestions made in the improvement alert by the accreditation board. If a hospital fails to meet these standards after three consecutive improvement alerts the hospital is placed under the control of the Ministry of Health for a 10 year period or until sufficient improvements have been made to warrant a transition back to the local board of governors.

The Ministry of Health in Sayaffallah is staffed by the majority party in government which appoints the Minister of Health. The Minister of Health likewise serves in their position for a year period unless of course in the next election sees a new government installed thus resulting in a likely new individual for the position of Ministry of Health. The Deputy Minister of Health is a non political position appointed directly by the Sultan who takes charge of the Ministry of Health during the month of December should he/she be needed for any emergency that should arise during the election period.

Education
Sayaffallah has a compulsory educational system from the age 5 through the age of 24 covering the grades of K through University completion. The completion of a university level degree is mandatory with the only other option in its place being that of military or medical corps (nursing) service for a period of 5 years time at half rate compensation. The educational system is overseen by the Council of Educators composed of a rotating set of 25 educators appointed personally by the Sultan on recommendation from the National Educational Authority (NEA).

Council of Educators
The role of the Council of Educators is to provide continual review of national educational policy and to work to set the policy in accordance with the consecutive five year vision and review of the Sultan which is shaped largely by input from the NEA. The Council of Educators meets twice a month in the capital city to discuss current developments and to discuss current trajectories for the five year vision project. The Council of Educators serve a term of 2 years after which a new group is formed and put together for the next term. The Council publishes an annual Educational Review for Sayaffallah (ERS) which compiles the pertinent national statistics for the educational system covering K-12+ as well as the statistics of accomplishment showing the literacy rate among other vital rates of statistics for the country.

National Educational Authority
National Educational Authority

The National Educational Authority consists of the leaders of each of the universities in Sayaffallah as well as peer elected academics who have attained the PhD level of education in each discipline within Sayaffallah and also those who are picked by the Sultan based upon their peer assessment reviews (PAR) and their accomplishments within the educational field. The National Educational Authority or NEA is responsible for ensuring the compliance of school districts both public and private in accomplishing the scope of educational achievement mandated by the Council of Educators. Under performing schools are routinely subject to monthly inspections by NEA inspectors and reports by their administrators. The NEA is also the body responsible for investigating all confidential reports of harassment within the educational sector as well as bullying and complaints within the educational system. Each complaint is handled by the NEA and is closed after an investigation into the matter in question. In all cases the anonymity of the complainant is protected by penalty of law and is illegal to be disclosed without direction of the judiciary of Sayaffallah.

Culture
Language
The language of Sayaffallah can be characterized as derivative of influences from distinctive lingual groups specifically being Ramna, Engle, Farish and Itarian. The language is spoken by over 99.2% of the inhabitants of the Sultanate of Sayaffallah and is the official language of business and education within the country. The language has developed over the centuries from pre tribal origins and has become the national language through the great unification efforts of past Sultans of Sayaffallah to bring together the many ethnic groups that make up the country. Sayaffallan is easily picked up once one knows the key letters of the alphabet and its key phrases.

The separate sub languages of Ramna, Engle, Farish and Itarian make up the ethnic diversity of Sayaffallah and its people. The language of Ramna is characteristic of the people in the far north of the country, while the language of Engle is characteristic of the people living in the central western part of the country. Farish is normally heard in the central eastern part of the country and the melodic sub language of Itarian can be heard in the southern stretches of the country towards the beautiful coastline of Sayaffallah.

Religion
The nation of Sayaffallah recognizes both Orthodox Christianity and Sunni Islam as the official state religions and recognizes all holidays and observances of both Orthodox Christianity and Sunni Islam as being state observances. The state requires that knowledge of both religious faiths be incorporated into the educational system of each pupil within the country. This typically is not an issue as most people within Sayaffallah are devout in whichever faith they choose with 95% of the country belonging to the faiths of Orthodox Christianity or Sunni Islam.

In the last study conducted of the religious affiliations of the country approximately 5% of the population identified as either secular or of no religious persuasion. A growing movement within the country has been that of secularism however its growth has been slowed in recent years as a cultural matter. Many within the country view secularism as a direct challenge to the authority of the Sultan who is coronated by the religious leaders of both the Orthodox Church and the Sunni Islamic faith and within the governing constitution of Sayaffallah both of these religions are recognized as the sovereign faiths of Sayaffallah.

Religious freedom is highly protected within Sayaffallah and it is not uncommon to see individuals practising other faiths than the two main faiths. Despite religious freedom being widely respected the culture of Sayaffallah marginalizes those of faiths that follow outside the homogeneous barriers of either Orthodox Christianity or Sunni Islam. It is not uncommon to see individuals from other faiths receive ridicule or condescension within the workplace. Yet despite this the small minority of other religious practices are becoming more bold in claiming their religious rights. Recent cases within the highest courts in the judiciary have seen cases regarding religious discrimination and bigotry battled and decisive victories attained for the benefit of religious freedom within Sayaffallah.

Exploration
Exploration is a key tradition and an ingrained aspect of Sayaffallan culture and heritage dating back to the very earliest years in the history of the nation. Whether it be a natural curiosity of the world around it or a desire to explore the geographical limits of territory or the desire to fling mankind into space thousands of miles out and discover new planets ripe for colonization. The nation of Sayaffallah consistently prioritizes both colonization of new places and exploration as one of its key tenets at home and abroad.

Space exploration
The Sayaffallan Space Program was founded as a way of exploring the world outside of the planet of Micras. Since its inception in 1861 under a different name the SPS has discovered and colonized several planets including those of Westes and Banas and Coniuratio. Beyond this the SPS has been instrumental in programs such as Children in Space Program and the Space Pregnancy Program and the development of the Resource Cultivation System. The main development campus of the SPS in which testing and training is conducted is the S1 Rocket Lab which has grown into a multi-agency facility operating on an old retired air force base.

Sport
Sayaffallah is also known for its vibrant and dynamic sporting scene ranging from the Sayaffallan Royal League, which handles all association football games in the country on a professional level, to the unique Sayaffallan game known as malletball, which on a professional level is governed by the Sayaffallan Mallet Association. Presently there are 20 teams in the professional soccer league in Sayaffallah.

History
Creation & Founding
Zatergast was developed and created in 1862 tucked deep within the mountains of Sayaffallah approximately 900 kilometers from the capital originally as a secretive laboratory for genetic research into unraveling and understanding the codex of dioxyribosenucleic acid and working to ensure that discoveries remained trade secret of the nation rather than dissiminated among a wider audience. By locating the complex in a mountain range and making it entirely self-sufficient it would allow researchers and scientists to work for years on end without ever needing to leave the complex.

The complex started construction in 1862 and saw its completion in the following December a week before the first snowstorms hit the valley in which the complex is nestled. Families of the researchers and scientists began moving into the complex in February as the last of the family housing complexes were complete and the facility was formally shut off from the rest of the country. The Zatergast complex when complete featured an elementary school, an academy for grades 9-12 and a university with professors teaching in over 62 different disciplines. In addition to this the complex was built with a large community pool and sauna system utilizing naturally occuring geothermal vents throughout the mountainside to provide heating not just for the pools at each home but also for the internal heating of all buildings in the complex.

Zatergast really however was the brainchild of Leopold Ziegeiter a preimminent researcher and scientist in the area of genetics who yearned for a place that could become a community of those wishing to eradicate disease, condition and disorders from Sayaffallah altogether through modifications of the genetic code. This research of his would become known as Designed Genetic Coding or DGC and to this day Zatergast remains a premier facility for genetic research and design with families still living in the complex.

Newcomers
1875-1902 saw the influx of over 6550 newcomers parents and children to a new series of buildings perched on the side of the mountain overlooking the main Zatergast complex. These newcomers were welcomed into the community and were given places in the schools and made to feel a part of the Zatergast community while they participated in the Fetal Stage trials that later led to the groundbreaking Fetal Stage Discovery that changed the game in the way that the field of epidemiology viewed disease, disorder and condition within Sayaffallah. As a result of the influx of newcomers additional lodgings had to be built on the side of the mountain and the school facilities were expanded to accommodate the large amount of newcomers at Zatergast. From 1903-23 a new group of families and children arrived to replace the outgoing group in Zatergast, this new group continued the invaluable research of genetic studies and continued to provide new insights into the way the human genome works.

Current Use
The Complex Today
Zatergast has an annual staff of 10,000 that work in the research laboratories on 12 year contracts after which are either rotated out based upon performance evaluations or the aspirations of the individual researchers and scientists in question. In addition to this individuals are only selected to come to Zatergast that have no more than a maximum of 4 dependents including their spouse due to the limited space within the mountain valley and the assigned housing complexes. Presently the housing on the outer mountain walls of Zatergast is divided among support staff for the Zatergast complex with only 50% being used for research participants as the sample size has decreased dramatically in recent years.

The complex has been renovated and redesigned as recently as 2007 with luxury in mind for the residents and privacy heightened to protect community relations specifically the ability of the community to work together efficiently without side problems rising up. Zatergast is also now linked by a series of underground tunnels from the housing complex office, which in turn has combination sealed tunnels to each individual home, to the laboratory system within the mountain valley itself. These tunnels allow for quick and efficient access to work environments even in the most brutal of temperature climates outside allowing researchers the ability to conduct their work in peace and quiet with minimal interference.

Researchers also now enjoy weekend trips out of the complex with a heliport transporting researchers to a nearby town where they can relax away from the compound. Security remains tight at the complex with only authorized personnel and their families allowed in and required to wear a lanyard with biometric fingerprint and barcode on a photo ID badge. All visitors are required to have a guide with them at all times and are restricted to a pre-approved visitor tour route with unlimited access to the museum at the complex entrance. As a result no visitors to the complex from the general public other than pre-approved relatives of those living in the complex are allowed to stay overnight within the complex for security purposes.

Research Facilities
The research facilities are some of the most state of the art facilities in Sayaffallah with the focus of research having moved to a dual focus of both medical research as well as commercial application research within genetics specifically designer genetics program allowing for the amplification of positive traits in the neo-natal and fetal stage of development the research facilities incorporate both. The hospital has the ability to handle 600 patients at any given time in various stages of recovery and assistance with top of the line life support systems to aid a dedicated team of researchers, scientists and physicians in providing the best patient care possible.

In addition to this there is office and laboratory space for every individual working in the expansive Zatergast system with areas for conferences, meetings and telecommunication as well as the handling of precise genetic based experimentation specifically in a cellular and nano-celluar level with advanced microscopic and analytic systems and reserve computing servers to handle the influx of data and to tightly control what data is allowed out of the complex. In addition to this there are facilities allowing for the study of other subject areas now outside of genetics exclusively but still pertaining to public health and the study of epidemiology with laboratories dedicated to the study of traumatic injuries after the development phase of human growth and laboratories dedicated to the study of synthetic applications for human development such as synthetic skin that could be applied to burn victims that would both meld to existing skin unnoticeably but also create a rapid growth of cells in the follicular level thickening and strengthening both newly developed skin and existing skin creating a much healthier skin than existed before.

Ziegeiter Museum Complex
The Ziegeiter Museum Complex is dedicated in the memory of Leopold Ziegeiter and is the home of the original laboratory that existed when the complex first opened in 1862 and is still assembled exactly the same way it was when in use by Leopold Ziegeiter during his time at Zatergast. In addition to memorializing and commemorating the life of Ziegeiter the complex museum showcases past and current research and has a large auditorium space where conferences are regularly held celebrating advances and work in genetic and medical treatment breakthrough studies. The auditorium is significantly large and has room for all 10,000 employees of the Zatergast in addition to over 5,000 guests.

The museum itself is situated at the helipad and formal entrance to the complex and includes a VIP reception area attached via a secure access corridor directly adjacent to the museum. The museum is open to the general public and although it includes emergency accommodations for 600 it is not open to the public for overnight stays except in emergencies in which the helicopter cannot return due to weather or dangerous conditions. Typically these accommodations serve as a place for extended family of those living Zatergast to stay as each individual home complex does not have room beyond the family members living in them. The museum has a rotating exhibit list with only one exhibit hall containing a permanent exhibition on the life of Leopold Ziegeiter himself.

Ziegeiter is buried in the museum complex in a large mausoleum directly outside the main auditorium hall. The mausoleum is accessibly by elevator and also by the large marble staircase descending 6 floors into the earth to a large domed room designed to look as if it was carved out of glacial ice. The mausoleum has the final words of Ziegeiter and has a memorial chapel tucked off to the side paid for by the living relatives of Ziegeiter.

This research of his would become known as Designated Genetic Coding or DGC and to this day Zatergast remains a premier facility for genetic research and design with families still living in the complex.

This is an article about the Sayaffallan Space Program specifically the discovery made on February 12, 2017 by space explorers in the DSEXP (Deep Space Exploration Program) of a new planet teeming with human life; Earth.

Background
Discovery of planet
On January 4, 2017 the Sultan of Sayaffallah was informed by leaders of the Sayaffallan Space Program that the DSEXP had found a new planet in a new galaxy encircled by various floating objects some of which appearing to be platforms for space observation similar to ones already in existence in Sayaffallah's space program. It was ordered to be kept secret by the Sultan until initial contact could be made with the planet.

A large debate within the scientific community was held to determine whether or not an appeal should be made privately through official channels to ask the Sultan to reconsider his order on grounds that the discovery held potential advantages and knowledge for all of society in Sayaffallah in the end the scientific community voted in a narrow vote to accept the ruling of the Sultan and not to challenge it at all but instead to closely monitor changes as they became more pronounced in the attempts to make contact wit the planet.

On January 20, 2017 the Sultan of Sayaffallah ordered the space program to go ahead with plans they briefed the Sultan on to make contact with the planet given the name of UPS1 (Unidentified Planet System 1) and to initiate contact with the planet specifically by entering its atmosphere and sending a team of space explorers in to collect samples and data. The government of Sayaffallah also concurred with the decision of the Sultan and the order was relayed to space explorers to initiate the entrance sequence.

Crash landing
February 12, 2017 in a nationwide address the Sultan brought the new planet to the attention of Sayaffallah's citizens and in real time the entry into atmosphere was watched from a live broadcast feed on board the space explorers entry vehicle. Midway through the flight the camera system showed the vehicle destabilizing and entering into a high speed rotation and failing to stabilize. Space explorers on board activated several jet propulsion systems which regained control of the vehicle and controlled its descent through the planetary atmosphere however the jet propulsion systems failed upon entry into atmosphere once again triggering a rapid descent into the planet's atmosphere.

Cameras on board the vehicle showed the vehicle thousands of meters above a city with lots of canals and waterways but still plummeting rapidly with little stability control. As a last effort at saving the entry vehicle the space explorers activated several large scale parachute systems which controlled the plummet and caused the vehicle to aim towards a waterway instead of several buildings. As it came closer to the surface of the planet's land the vehicle was swept rapidly by several wind gusts and then slammed through the roof of a building coming to rest into what appeared to be some sort of parliamentary session.

Several paramilitary units apprehended the space explorers and they were debriefed as to the events that occurred during the emergency landing. A message was sent back to Sayaffallah showing contact had been established with a country that had a red white and blue flag and speaking a language similar to a dialect spoken in Sayaffallah prompting immediate curiosity by anthropologists and explorers within Sayaffallah's scientific community. It was soon found that space explorers had landed in a place called Amsterdam and it was decided that this must be the name of the country of people.

Nationwide reaction
The country of Sayaffallah has reacted with surprise and excitement with the photographs of the country of Amsterdam racing across television screens in the country. It is believed that this is the first inhabited planet system that Sayaffallah has ever discovered and that has prompted new excitement among the population and it is believed an uptick in recruitment for the space program has also occurred. Reported circulation copies of newspapers in Sayaffallah has risen an extraordinary 92% on the day of February 12, 2017 alone.

The Sultan of Sayaffallah has reportedly been in contact with the leadership of the country of Amsterdam and is working to secure the return of the space explorers to Sayaffallah. It is believed that the return of space explorers could occur sometime soon and already there is a great deal of nervousness as to the situation of the space explorers on a strange and foreign planet system that is inhabited by a people not known to those in Sayaffallah. Those closest to the government believe that the people on this planet system are similar to the kind of beings living in Micras but these reports are yet to be confirmed.

Leopold Ziegeiter is known as the father of modern DNA researcher in Sayaffallah.

History
Early Life
Leopold Ziegeiter was born in the outskirts of Bellissimomare in 1786 and attended technical schools during his early education and attended the University of Bellissimomare where he studied medicine specifically that of molecular and genetic medicine. During his time in the University of Bellissimomare he published several academic papers that became advances in defeating cellular disorders such as sickle cell anemia which became heralded as cutting edge research at the time. Upon graduating Leopold was accepted as a physician at the Royal Military Hospital in Bellissimomare under the tutelage of the faculty there to improve upon his existing knowledge and to become an expert in the field of cellular and immune system disorders.

DNA Research
In 1856 Leopold Ziegeiter, a prominent researcher and scientist in Sayaffallah discovered a prominent strand of RNA within the sequence of dioxyribosenucleic acid (DNA) that could be manipulated for small synthetic variations in its initial strand layers. By changing the quantity of adenineand cytosine within the nucleotide of DNA it was found that a 12 rather than 5 methyl cytosine strand was replicated and modified (12mC) because of the significant increase it was determined through the trial phase that it increased and enhanced the resiliency of the DNA strand from mutation in the later phases of conception and fetal development.

Ziegeiter was ecstatic at the discovery of this strand however the government at the time was less ecstatic and ordered Zeigeiter on pain of death to keep his discovery secret and to continue to develop new innovations and breakthroughs for the good of the country. The data was thus internally kept as a state secret and only shared on a need to know basis with scientists who were also researching the same topic and utilizing the exact same DNA strands that Ziegeiter was using in his experimental stages.

Zatergast
1862 brought new developments from the laboratory of Ziegeiter and his staff of now nearly 200 scientists sworn to secrecy and kept in luxurious surroundings of a mountain retreat known as Zatergast, the new developments were a complete mapping of the human genome specifically all of its strands and its sequencing as well as earlier cross referencing with the development of disorders and disease from the parents chromosomal exchanges during fertilization of the egg immediately after intercourse. The mapping of the genome was a huge accomplishment and allowed researchers to see the entire human genome in vivid detail and of course able to see which patterns and sequences led to which conditions and disorders and which ones accentuated the human individual either by increasing appearance or intellectual curiosity or athletic ability.

Researchers found that those in Sayaffallah who at the time had a higher disposition to attaining a disorder or disease or condition later in life were born with incredible abilities ranging from intellectual capacity to attractiveness. It was determined that these abilities were a survival mechanism occurring naturally in the body to help it survive future mutations of the genetic code. Researchers at this time came up with the Genome Survival Theorem which in short hypothesized that the genome was always constantly and rapidly changing and mutating over time as the body degraded and went beyond its peak abilities thus requiring a survival mechanism of either intellectual capacity, attractiveness or athletic ability as means of coping. Scientists observed that those who early on had a higher ability in these three key areas later contracted debilitating disease, disorder or condition that limited their overall functionality yet these abilities provided them with significant quality of life.

Later Life
Ziegeiter became increasingly disillusioned later in life with the quality of the research being brought forward and soon left his studies to pursue a career within the political realm. After being elected to the Parliament of the Nation Leopold was influential in drafting legislation to positively impact future genetic research in Sayaffallah. Once of his legislative pieces made it possible for vast amounts of money to be funneled into research efforts and required an annual report to be released to the public on the status of genetic research and benefits.

Ziegeiter would live until the age of 105 and upon his death was given a state funeral attended by the entire Royal Family and a procession of nearly 20,000 people in the capital of Sayaffallah. His final resting place would be the Zatergast complex in a specially designed crypt near the entrance to the facility which now serves as both his resting place and museum dedicated not just to his life but to the field of genetic research in Sayaffallah.

Impact
Genetics & Research
To this day Ziegeiter is recognized by the scientific community as being the father of DNA & Genetic research in Sayaffallah and his work pioneering the decrease in disease, disorders and conditions has been heralded as an superhuman achievement for the benefit of the country. To this day Ziegeiters work is well mentioned and a part of the curriculum for students in K-12 education at incremental phases of learning.

The Zatergast laboratory and complex exists to this day as a monument to the accomplishments of Leopold Ziegeiter and to those who worked with him. The original laboratory space at Zatergast has been carefully maintained in the original condition it was in when the laboratory was first opened and now can be toured by the general public as part of a large on-site museum at the complex which allows the work of genetics and dna to be seen first hand.

Fetal Stage Discovery
From 1875-1902 a study was conducted with the voluntary participation of 6550 parents and their children to monitor development both physical, social and academic of newborns throughout their span of life into adulthood. These children were taken to the Zatergast Resort in the mountains along with their parents and housed there for much of their childhood with frequent trips to the seaside and organized social outings and eventual transition into regular public school settings by age 13. The children were monitored with frequent blood examinations and genetic analysis to determine the progression of their particular assigned genetic traits from fetal stage through adulthood.

The discovery made by scientists was an earth shattering one on December 2, 1902 when their research revealed that the genetic growth of these participants ended at the point of birth with their particular genetic strand being locked in place with whatever changes would occur later in life and whatever conditions would develop already set in place. This meant that the Genome Survival Theorem was disproved and no longer applicable but it also meant that scientists could now focus exclusively on the point of development of the DNA strand during fetal stage and determine whether or not replicating, manipulating and changing the DNA strands during this process and prior to conception would result in significant changes later on in life.

A new study was commissioned and from 1903-1923 a new selection of 6500 parents and children were put through the same process except this time 500 of those participants were the reserve case in which nothing was done to alter the genetic makeup and thus became the marker by which all results would be measured. Researchers on the 6000 other cases altered the genetic sequencing during the point of conception from fertilization to a week before delivery and waited to see what result would take place among the children. The results achieved at the end in 1923 were phenomenal. The children who were given altered DNA restructuring and re-sequencing with their specific condition or future disease/disorder targeted were found to have those completely eliminated from their genetic code and instead their natural survival mechanisms were enhanced and heightened making them into what society identified as an ideal citizen. Of these children over 4 became future Prime Ministers of Sayaffallah and to this day the identity of those four remains a secret to the general public as the data has never been fully disclosed except to show the findings.

Fragmented DNA Technique
After the discovery of Fetal Stage Genetic Closing (FSGC) ,as it would later become known, scientists and researchers wanted to find a way in which blood work could quickly identify and establish existing disorder or disease or conditions within the DNA strands of those individuals at full maturation and likely to become pregnant as well as the strands of their spouse or partner so as to determine the point at which an individual would be likely to contract the condition, disease or disorder and to determine which specific strand contained those mutations allowing for changes later in life. To achieve this Gillian Abernas proposed taking a fragment of DNA and stripping it to determine its exact sequencing steps from start to finish and then examining it in a full illustrated sequence to determine the point at which microscopic mutations occurred.

The process was successful in determining the exact point at which mutations occurred however its laborious nature required significant manpower to accomplish and furthermore required a span of months to fully complete. Attempts at automation were initiated specifically to take a blood analysis and extricate DNA sample from the hemoglobin and use it to determine the exact point at which mutation could be observed through microscopic analysis however these attempts at automation proved to also be too time consuming. On January 5, 1948 researchers in B Group made an important discovery that if DNA fragments were stripped and analyzed using a chemical solution it could speed up the process of reviewing the genetic sequencing without it taking months to accomplish. The discovery effectively reduced the time of processing from 6-10 months down to a period of 1-2 days allowing researchers to comb through vast amounts of data to compile what would become an exhaustive guidebook to blood and tissue DNA sampling and sequencing allowing researchers to begin the next phase of research in identifying commonalities in DNA in order to begin eliminating specific strands that contributed to disease, disorder or malignant conditions.

Elimination of Mutation DNA Strands
On October 14, 1973 the process of eliminating DNA Strands with known links to mutation causing disease, disorder or condition later in life was finalized with a research study involving over 3,650,200 individuals over a 30 year period was concluded. The analysis was made public including prior research on genetics within Sayaffallah and the process of designed genetic coding was approved as medical procedure essential making it a free procedure available as a basic human right to expectant parents during the birth process in which tissue samples and DNA sequencing would be conducted to determine strands and then mutation replacement and re-sequencing would take place to strengthen positive cycles and strands of DNA while completely eliminating negative ones that would cause complications later in life.

The approval of this procedure caused significant buzz throughout Sayaffallah specifically in the scientific and medical communities and its popularity increased over the years as it became more refined. By 1995 it was estimated that nearly 99% of negative mutations within the DNA strand had been eliminated among those living Sayaffallah and those given access to the treatment from abroad. Now the treatment is commonplace within Sayaffallah and is constantly being improved upon with other applications for cellular growth particularly later in life for traumatic injuries.

Procedure
Current Designed Genetic Coding (DGC) Procedure
Presently Designed Genetic Coding is the process by which DNA strands are coded, analyzed, sequenced and then re-sequenced to emphasize positive traits non detrimental to growth, development and quality of life. Exact sequencing can be done through the stripping of the DNA down to its most basic RNA sequencing and then introducing the chemical solution composed of liquid aminos to the DNA strand which allows it to be sped up under microscope in which mutations can be observed as non linear during cellular meosis phase. By analyzing within meosis as opposed to other phases of cellular development the exact detailing can be seen and the mutations stand out more because of their inability to fit the pre-set pattern of other marker strands of DNA sequencing. Within the typical blood cell more than sixty five million individual separate strands of DNA can be observed through microscope with many of these being identical and thus supporting a larger growth of a particular trait or characteristic later on, when a strand is outside the normal frame of known DNA it can be viewed as a mutation.

Because mutations have been comprehensively catalogued and put into an electronic system they can be scanned and then run through the system and identified quickly. Not all mutations lead to negative consequences later in development. Some mutations are a strengthening of known survival metrics within the DNA strand and can lead to a deepening or a reinforcing of those characteristics during the normal childhood development process. Likewise DNA strands have been completely catalogued in a database as well and many individuals have similar strands as other individuals although on a nanoscopic level these strands cannot be completely identical as each strand has its own minutia level differences making that one individual unique in their own way. After a mutation is observed and identified the system will indicate the specific strand replication and resythnizing needed to accomplish successful elimination of the mutation. Once the re-sequencing is complete the DNA sequence is monitored through 4 subsequent visits over a 4 week period after the first visit. The first visit typically occurs a month into the pregnancy and the 4 subsequent visits monitor the resequencing for any retrograde mutations developing after the re-sequencing takes place.

If a mutation develops after re-sequencing a more aggressive form of sequencing is put in place in which DNA stands that are positive are reinforced and strengthened with replication of those strands at the nano level typically through replication of positive RNA and eukaryotes found in the blood stream. Through successful replication at an aggressive stage individuals will often see their positive physical/intellectual/athletic traits develop at a faster and a higher level than before. Alternatively those who are desiring tailored DGC will often receive a more aggressive cycle along with modified strands to accentuate desired characteristics.

Designer DGC
Designer DGC is a common nickname for Aggressive Designed Genetic Coding (ADGC) which allows parents to amplify positive traits found within the DNA sequencing so as to increase the potential for athletic ability, intellectual capacity and physical capacity later in the development process. Typically this can be accomplished through aggressive replication of positive patterns in the strand sequence and introduction of a large scope of proteins. Typically known strands of traits that are formative in the intellectual/athletic/physical realms are introduced as well giving the individual the ability to dramatically increase their working abilities later in life. When these strands are introduced it has to be carefully monitored so that it does not create a permeated mutation that can be difficult to remove. On an ADGC cycle there are 12 required visits total starting a week after a pregnancy result is determined after an initial pregnancy screening. The first visit involves introducing specific embryonic level strands that will begin the process of interacting. During the first week the woman is typically hospitalized for observation purposes with new blood tests taken several times a day each day along with a transfusion of essential nutrients and embryonic strands throughout the day during the week of observation. At the end of the week a complete assessment is conducted including a total review of embryonic DNA strands to determine the progress made during the week. After this is completed the next visit is a week later and marks the beginning of an aggressive transfusion process to strengthen the woman during pregnancy and on an embryonic level to strengthen the child during the process of development in the womb.

ADGC is becoming more and more popular in Sayaffallah particularly among younger mothers who desire to see their child reach their full potential. Complications however are not unheard of particularly during the transfusion process but no complication has ever resulted in the death of the mother or the developing child. Typically complications come from a mother weakening during the transfusion process and needing to be admitted for another week of observation during which time essential nutrients and proteins are introduced into the bloodstream greatly strengthening the chances of the pregnancy surviving and becoming successful in the long-term.

Ethics & Concerns
Database Privacy
The database for mutations and DNA strand identification has been compiled with the partial and complete DNA of over 6.2 million Sayaffallans over a 120 year period allowing a comprehensive picture of known and emerging conditions to be at the fingertips of physicians. The database however is designed with privacy in mind with no names being linked to the strands of DNA or the DNA mutations in the database and with each entry being linked simply to a number which is linked to a paper hardcopy file with pertinent medical information of the patient whose DNA was contributed. This in turn is a hard copy file with no name on it but with the medical history of the individual, if a name is needed the individual or their living relatives must sign off on it. In order to obtain the name of the individual or living relatives an additional second number is provided which leads to a card catalogue database in another locked away medical archive building which is guarded around the clock. Those guarding the archive have no idea what the number on the card in the catalogue they are guarding is for other than it is a sensitive number. The number in the card catalogue links to the number on the file folder in the reserve archive where the medical histories are stored.

Furthermore individuals freely donate their DNA information to this database either on their own request and initiative during life for a payment of the equivalent of $200,000 or upon death for the same equivalent payment. Those who participate in DGC procedures have their DNA discarded upon completion unless they request to be a part of the database system in which case they are required to undergo medical testing to ensure that their DNA is capable of being stored for a long period of time within the database and remain current for usage.

Designer DNA & Human Cloning
A long standing debate exists in Sayaffallah in regards to human cloning and the "designer DNA" process otherwise known as ADGC. There are some who feel that tampering with DNA to increase advantage in life is an inappropriate exercise that demeans the value of human life. Ethicists have long supported greater controls to ensure that inappropriate use of DNA does not occur, and to this day in response to that pressure all DNA procedures are logged by alphanumeric number in the medical records of the individual and are done according to strict standards to ensure that the individual is not given mutation or unfair result.

Research State Secret
Until 2015 the research of Designed Genetic Coding including its entire history remained a state secret and only those physicians who passed extensive review and applied for security clearance were given access to the database and the ability to conduct procedures. That all changed following a movement started by a group of medical students which spread across the country starting in 2005 when medical students were denied the ability to use the database of DNA research for clinicals. Medical students refused to go to classes and soon over 2.6 million students rallied for a 2 week period in the streets of Sayaffallah largely in the capital of Bellissimomare. The government in turned ordered the students to report back to their classes the following monday or the Ministry of Education would require their schools both private and public to forfeit their spots in the program and give the spots to those on a national waiting list of students.

The medical students took a brave stand and refused and they were replaced by new students, this led to a national outrage and the demand that the students be taken back into the schools. The government refused and the Sultan intervened in a rare move describing the students as "unmotivated and lazy and individuals who should spend as much energy as they do protesting in the classroom preparing to be doctors". The bulk of these students who were replaced would change their focus and enter into different schools for a variety of different disciplines in the medical field with many opting to become nurses and than later go to medical school to become doctors. This decision by the government only intensified desire for the research to enter the public domain and on July 1, 2015 the parliament formally passed a law and invited all the prior medical students to come to the parliament as it was signed by the Sultan requiring the research to be made public. However the law had significant cavitas specifically requiring patient information to remain closely guarded and physicians to pass rigorous testing to be granted access to the database itself and perform the genetic procedures.
RNA Strand Sequencing

Genome Mapping
1862 brought new developments from the laboratory of Ziegeiter and his staff of now nearly 200 scientists sworn to secrecy and kept in luxurious surroundings of a mountain retreat known as Zatergast, the new developents were a complete mapping of the human genome specifically all of its strands and its sequencings as well as earlier cross referencing with the development of disorders and disease from the parents chromosomal exchanges during fertilization of the egg immediately after intercourse.

RNA Strand Sequencing

RNA Strand Sequencing

Founding
Peris was founded by a group of explorers on June 1, 1980 who planned to develop the town as a resort city however the land on which they planned to build was a swampland with large amount of aggregate rainwater. Because of the perpetual swamp content of the land it presented a significant challenge to the designing and building of the city. So as a compromise the city was lowered in elevation and deep canals were built to facilitate boat traffic in and out of the city, moreover a channel was created through the swampland connecting to a nearby river to facilitate the moving of the swamp water into the river. To accomplish building of structures the city was laid into a grid pattern with building plots raised over 50ft so that foundations could be built and ensure that the buildings would be structurally sound rather than shifting due to the amount of water in the city.

The city was formally dedicated and opened to the public with an initial "move in" population of 126,500 many of whom came to the city to work in the chocolate and candy factory in the center of town run by the explorers turned entrepreneurs at the center of the towns history. The city's success in its initial early years was a result of not just hard work but also a result of a plan aimed at creating a thriving transportation network which included a passenger airport with connected rail terminal in the same building and extensive roads linking the city to the outside world.

Addington is a Sayaffallan city on the planet of Banas with a population of 655,210 at the last census that was taken.

History
Silesian Research University
Joseph Addington founded the Silesian Research University in Addington, a small community of researchers, in 1968 with the express desire of mapping, charting and exploring the natural and geological resources of the surrounding area and the entirety of the Silesian Peaks. The university attracted a large number of researches from Sayaffallah who came to Addington not just to study the diversity of wildlife and geological activity in the Silesian Peaks but also to research the significant development of marine ecosystems in the waters surrounding Addington Bay and the oceans outside of it.

Joseph Addington successfully took his university and adapted it to the environment particularly the natural world with the establishment of a wildlife sanctuary in which the natural world outside could be replicated and monitored by researchers so they could both understand and learn from the various animals in the sanctuary. The addition of the sanctuary to the campus increased enrollment and brought the fluctuating population to 36,500 with the year round population at a comfortable 26750 mostly consisting of professionals in the fields of animal and biological and geological sciences respectively.

City Establishment
The City itself continued to grow as the fishing industry took hold and became a major center for the export of seafood to the surrounding communities and with this expansion of industry came an expansion of population rising up to 76,200 year round residents by 1971 and the election of the first mayor of the city being none other than Joseph Addington who served a term of two years and saw the establishment of a city charter limiting mayors to one year terms and a maximum of ten terms after which they would be required to retire or run for city council office in which city councilors only serve a one year term with a maximum of four terms that like the mayoral office can be consecutive or split up on the preference of the individual running.

The Establishment of the City brought about formal recognition from the government in Sayaffallah and also from the regional government in Patras which formally recognized the city as a part of the country. But with the establishment of a city came the burdening question of transportation. Until this point an airport had served to connect the city with the rest of the county as had a seaport but no land connection via roadway had been established neither had a rail connection so the question of what to do became a priority for the city council of Addington.

The city council decided that the best method of reaching other cities would be to create a tunnel network under the Silesian Peaks range and connecting to a highway directly on the other side of the peaks. Funds were raised extensively and preparatory work was conducted primarily the deforestation of the areas around the tunnel openings and extensive work to level the terrain around the proposed tunnel openings and on June 1, 1974 construction began on the tunnel itself.

Tunneling Tragedy of 1975
The first segments of the tunnel were installed by December 2, 1974 with the tunnels progressing approximately 2 kilometers through the mountain itself using a combination of excavation and blasting through set demolition charges. On the evening of December 3, 1974 a crew of 462 workers were inside the tunnel working to excavate the next section when a large explosion caused the entrance to cave in and subsequently the interior portions caved in as well instantly killing those inside of the tunnel. After the initial explosion took place emergency workers converged on the construction site and attempted to extricate the exterior layers of rocks and dirt but were unable to do so and were forced to submit an urgent request for assistance to the government in Patras

The Governor ordered 2000 troops to be deployed to Addington to assist in recovery and relief efforts and they arrived within four hours of the disaster happening by air transport at the nearby airport. The troops were able to remove a large section of the debris using specialized equipment that came on an advance transport flight to be able to jumpstart recovery. Ultimately they were able to make it to the interior sections but found that nobody was alive and indeed that those in the most interior parts were either crushed or so completely cut off that they would be unable to be rescued. Nonetheless for over two week rescuers worked feverishly in around the clock shifts to move rock but as they moved segments within the interior parts more rock showers would begin and the collapse would start all over.

As the collapses became larger and more pronounced the search was called off and transitioned into a recovery effort for the safety of the rescuers. A memorial service was held in Addington Memorial Stadium and private funerals were soon commonplace for the next month in the churches of Addington. The level of grief in the city was so palpable that the city declared itself to be in a state of mourning for the "loss of humanity" that had occurred. On August 1, 1975 a formal memorial park was constructed at the site of the tunnel and the city announced that it would no longer be pursuing the tunnel system as a way of establishing contact by road and rail with other communities. Addington Memorial Park was designed also as a large scaled national park by which the land would always be preserved extending up to the highest points of the Silesian Peak around it.

Instead it was determined that the transportation link would be done in a gradual winding road over the top of the Silesian Peaks connecting to the highway on the other side of the mountain. Construction began January 1, 1976 and crossed over the top of the peak by July 16, 1976 and was completed on February 4, 1977.

Environment of Addington
Geography
Addington is a northern town with a large bay extending out to the ocean and towering mountain peaks that send drafts of cold air down onto the city in the winter and refreshing breezes in the summer. The geography is that of a moderate flood plain extending into hilly terrain eventually leading to the rocky mountainous terrain of the Silesian Peaks.

Climate
The climate is a northern climate with significant snowfall in the winter and large amounts of the rain in the summertime. Due to its proximity to the ocean and its location in a flood plain frequent flooding occurs in the summertime which has resulted in extensive damage over a twenty year span. In 1990 large renovation projects began raising every building onto a 30ft hill effectively changing the elevation of the entire city in segments to prevent the same level of rampant flooding. However despite this large amounts of rainfall still results in minor flooding throughout the city. Temperatures tend to range from deep cold in the winter and moderate temperatures in spring and fall gradually warming up to the summer in which scorching temperatures moderated by cooling breezes from the mountains are the norm.

Ecological Diversity
The ecological diversity of the surrounding area around Addington is rich with large amounts of marine and avian life. As one gets higher in elevation along the mountainous portions of the surrounding countryside a change in species can be observed as the terrain changes from the sparse vegetation of the flood plain to the dense forests of the foothills of the Silesian peaks which is home to wolf and bear populations. As one goes further into the fooothills the mountainous cliffs can be seen clearly and species of alpine goat and ibex can be seen freely roaming these cliff areas in addition to numerous eagles and hawks that prey upon smaller animals in the crags of the mountain itself.

Banas Football League
The Banas Football League ((American Football)) was founded in the cities of Addington and Royas with both teams serving as the cornerstone and within a years time the league expanded to include over eight other cities making it the fastest growing league in Sayaffallah at the time of creation. Within the city of Addington there are several dozen football teams mostly at the collegiate, high school and elementary levels of competition as well as a large thriving amateur football league for professional adults that mainly practices on the weekends. The BFL team in Addington are the Addington Fighting Fools which uses a maniacal jester as its mascot.

Sayaffallan Royal League
The Sayaffallan Royal League has a team in Addington within its Banas Division that competes regularly in games against other teams in Banas and every other year the championship team goes to Bellissimomare the capital of Sayaffallah to play the champion of the Sayaffallan league in an ultimate match in which the winning team receives a large cash reward (equivalent of $50M). The Addington Team is known as Addington FC and does not have a mascot.

Addington Mallet Club
The Sayaffallan Mallet Association has established a team in Addington known as the Addington Climbers in 2002, as of the present they are playing in the Addington Memorial Stadium in which all of the professional teams in Addington play.

Hiking/Mountaineering
One of the most popular things to do in Addington is hiking and moreover mountaineering in the beautiful and stunning mountains that surround Addington. Over 600 trails ranging from a half mile at the shortest to over 60 miles at the longest can be found throughout the surrounding countryside around Addington. Because Addington is so far removed from other towns it means that the land around it is pristine virgin forest and coast land with magnificent fjords extending beyond the bay leading out to the ocean. Hiking is a popular pastime for many of the residents in town and has seen the founding of the Addington Walking Club which organizes public hikes and educational walks with guides and rangers in the surrounding countryside.

Kayaking/Rafting
Addington is surrounded by mountains but within those mountains are large scale rivers and rapids that flow from the mountainous peaks down to the bay where the water is deposited. These rivers are most active in the spring time when temperatures are just beginning to soar into hot conditions and the ice from glacial melts is reaching its fastest point creating prime Class IV & Class V rapids that are taken advantage of by those seeking to enjoy it in the surrounding terrain. Because of the remote nature of the rivers and rapids their usage is unregulated meaning that tourists and those seeking to enjoy the rapids are warned ahead of time of the lethality of the river and the inability of quick response in the event of an emergency taking place.

The Dove Mountains are an imposing series of mountains extending to the northwest of Patras for approximately 1230 miles (1979km) and all the way to the sea as well. The Dove Mountains are located on the planet of Banas which is a possession of Sayaffallah and the severity of the rocky mountains height and the way in which it rockets into the sky with many of its peaks means that ecosystems here are very resilient and able to survive a great deal of abuse.
The rocky peaks are accentuated by the almost constant rainy and misty weather that exists within the vast amounts of its territory providing a wet environment for the plants, vegetation and many animals that live here. The most common animal one is to encounter is the big horn sheep and the plains buffalo both of which exist in this ecosystem. While the sheep prefer the higher alpine elevations the buffalo prefer the lower plains surrounding the mountains and the craggy valleys in which rich vegetation grows so frequently.

The Dove Mountains provide a rich environment for the general public to enjoy with frequent trips by tourists and locals alike to enjoy the wide variety of white water rafting, hang gliding and free climbing that can be done within the expanse of the the Dove Mountains. Many valleys exist as well in between rocky peaks and many of these are vast stretches of rocks and sparse vegetation here and there and roaring rivers transporting melted glacial ice down to the sea where it is deposited.
Standlidge Peak is approximately a height of 8850ft (2697 meteres)making it a permitted location for those wishing to make the ascent to the top. Standlidge Peak has large glacial ice fields making access a difficult proposition for those who want to make it to the top. Beyond that the peak has several vertical climbs requiring precision skills and the best equipment possible.

Around the base of the mountain itself are several ski resorts providing the general public with recreational possibilities in winter and mountain biking in the summertime. These options have proven extremely successful for the tourist operators in the region and have opened up over 60,000 jobs in seasonal and full time employment for those desiring to work in this lucrative environment. The Silesian Peaks of which these are a part of also has a trail linking the ski resorts to the ascent approach trails which take approximately 14-16 hours to make the total ascent and another 10 hours to make the descent successfully.
The Tiberian Valley is surrounded by the Silesian Peaks on the planet of Banas. It is home to a vibrant semi-arctic permafrost ecosystem consisting of a wide variety of aquatic and land mammals that have strict migratory patterns within the basin of the Tiberian Valley. Many of the species rarely ever exit the Tiberian Valley instead remaining strictly within the valley during the course of their total lifetime. The Tiberian Valley is also home to the frequently photographed Varisian Falls which are believed to provide the bulk of the fresh water supply for the city of Patras through a meandering underground series of rivers and streams and cascading waterfalls many of which have not been fully mapped.
Varisian Falls are located within the Tiberian Valley on the planet of Banas a colonized territory of Sayaffallah. The Varisian Falls are accessible by the 110 mile (177 km) trail linking it to the nearby Silesian Peaks which encircle the Tiberian valley itself. The Varisian Falls are also a natural part of the ecosystem of the valley providing a continual stream of freshwater from the underground lake on the Tiberian Valley.

The short streams that feed the Varisian Falls serve as an important habitat for freshwater aquatic species primarily that of perch, pike and salmon as well as a feeding source for bears and deer and elk which form the basic frame of animal life along the teeming banks of the falls itself. It is not infrequent to see these animals co-existing in relative peace along the banks of the river as if they are taking a reprieve from the cycle of hunting that exists within the greater forests of the Tiberian Valley.
