Tabere de Barieră
The Tabere de Barieră, or Barrier Camps, are a series of military checkpoints and defensive camps on the borders of Nova Caradia that are manned by the Nova Caradian Defence Force and were established following the success of Operation Green Hammer to prevent future incursions along Nova Caradia's sizable northern border with the Green. The camps are staffed by members of the NCDF Army Regiment and NCDF Border Defence Regiment along the northern border, and by NCDF Marine Force in Cetate pe Vârf (designated TDF-120) and TMF-110 in the southwestern islands. The camps serve the additional function in Cetate pe Vârf and TMF-110 of housing forces patrolling the republic's littoral waters, and in all of the bases of serving as training camps. Cetate pe Vârf is the largest of these camps both in terms of land area and personnel.
The camps are designated names based off of a Caradian military camp naming system that had supposedly ended around number 100, thus starting Nova Caradian camp designations at number 100. TDF, standing for Tabără Defensivă Fortificată (Fortified Defensive Camp) is assigned to land-based camps, and TMF, which stands for Tabără Marină Fortificată (Fortified Marine Camp), is given to sea-based camps. Cetate pe Vârf, despite being located on the coast and housing some of the NCDF Marine Force's equipment, is designated as a land camp because it has a higher number of Army Regiment staff thand Marine Force staff.
