Belledin is a city in northwest Absentia/Francia in Shireroth. Founded in 1629 as Gudridsbýur (in honour of Gudrid Thorbjarnardottir, the mother of Harald of Stormark), it was initially an encampment for immigrating Storish people ("Froyalaners") intending to settle and colonize Elwynn. Yumi Zotrasdóttir was Jarla of Gudridsbýur until 1651. In 1651, after the Auspicious Occasion, the city changed its name to Belledin, in honour of Heath Belledin's services in restoring order in Elwynn. However, in 1671, the city's name was once again changed back to Gudridsbýur, which it kept until 1685, when Belledin was restored once again.
