Summary

The Hexarchy's Realms in early 1688 AN. The people of Nippur establish the new Realm of Asshyria, mostly populating the western half of their new territory. Frontiers are reinforced by soldiers from Eridu in exchange for unknown rights and treasures from their new lands. The remainder settle in newly conquered lands belonging to Pyrax, maintaining (for the most part) a semi-nomadic lifestyle under their compatriots' protection.

Pyrax expands to the south, triggering their Wars of Subjugation alongside Eridu, after the latter's successful "domestication" of the still-dreaded Ereshkigal Forest.

Suza emerges as a new power and shifts its capital to a large hilltop city deep inland accessible only by air as of late 1687. Its scattered coastal territories form much of the outline of an emerging power within the Hexarchy. However, its leader still considers himself (and Suza) in relative unison with Pyrax despite the recent political split.

Meanwhile, the Eventide Islands come together in the face of weakening prestige in the country, and turn abroad for a source of wealth. Meanwhile, the Port of Ashtaroth brings in unexpected wealth to both Eridu and Asshyria due to a sudden treaty with the nearby Aldura-Wechua.
