Summary
The first Praetor of the Hexarchy, Gilgamesh I. Previously the ruler of the regions of Pyrax and Arumen, he was elected by the Council of Six in 1688 to the newly created office of Praetor. However, he didn't get long to enjoy his title as the de facto dictator of his nation. His rule ended when he fell in battle on the Southern Frontier in late 1690 AN. He was succeeded by his only son Gilgamesh II.
