I agree, that looks quite reasonable Max, thanks for that.

Thoughts on Psycotia (near Alexandrian island by Eura) and The Collins Isles (near Oscland/Numenor whatever it is now.)

Thankyou Guy. And whilst I can see your argument, I do sympathise with Benkern in that every member must follow the rules or leave. I'm being lenient and, I hope, reasonable, but in the long run, if you are asked to leave you must do so. But I think you probably do deserve some land.

Don't think so. However, I will be asking if any other citizens would like to take this role on. Sadly, I don't think they will :roll:

No, I'm sorry. You're not untouchable. If the MCS votes you off the map, you jolly well leave it. Those are part of the terms and conditions of this society, and as a member of it, you're obliged to follow them.
I've been quite lenient towards Lovely, but you must understand that rules are rules. The Kingdom of Lovely, in the eyes of the administration, is no different to any other Micran nation, no matter how much fame you've had. Is that quite clear?

Thought you meant me personally. My bad.

Don't be silly, if they voted Lovely off then they would just remove it, it's not like we'd be able to do anything :?

that reminds me of my last PDP lesson...

"should smokers be allowed to smoke in school?"

"yes, but only if they wear orange badges on their arm so people know to stay away from them, and they are only allowed to smoke in a hydrogen gas tank at the end of the feild"

to hell with ethics.

Since I was one of the people who helped bring Lovely into the micronational sphere, and helped with their original MCS application, I'll briefly explain the application and what was running through Kieran's mind when it happened.

1. I talk to Kieran;
2. I suggest MCS membership;
3. I point out that a nice area of green land next to Treithar that some of which could be claimed;
4. Kieran claims whole lot, ignored that I'd had a tacit agreement with Ryan and others to make an eastern expansion some time later - browbeats about the issue;
5. MCS Administration refuses on the grounds that it's just a big blob of orange with nothing marked;
6. Kieran has a rant at me;
7. I suggest subdivisions, capitals, towns, cities etc. based on names used in Lovely, prominent citizens, forums etc.
8. Within a day Kieran has done so.

So in reality there's no real sentimental attachment, just Kieran doing what he had to to better facilitate being an intermicronational power. All attachments, whilst still valid, are subsequent.

Because Lovely as a unified micronation doesn't exist anymore. If it did, why would some of its citizens decide to make Lovely Mark 2 (Houland) and Lovely mark 3 (Beaugium)?
Danny doesn't care about it anymore, practically no Lovelians seem to be bothered with general elections or actually simulating a micronation anymore, and the entire place is just in general disarray.
I know Guy will now mention www.lovelycountry.org to me, but I ask him why, if Lovely is unified, it needs so many forums?
Besides, at least a reduction is necessary- there are loads of other nations which could actually do something with that large swathe of MCS land. Be generous! :)
Oh, and thanks, Ben for your input on this matter. I'm sure 'twill prove very useful.

Houland might not like being called "Lovely Mark 2"
It was meant jokingly :)
But then again, there is a rather strong link between Lovely and Houland. Stronger than a regular alliance, for sure...
