i'm going to use a system a freind made to see number of active citizens...

is it possible to get a full member list in order of post count on your forum?

EDIT: found it, had to log in...

EDIT2: according to my count you only have 87 active citizens, take number of posts divide by users then anyone over that is active

That's not a great system in any way, shape or form. It ignores, for instance, those that used to be active but no longer are, those who are not citizens etc. etc.

Just count them! Go to 'User List', the click 'Total Posts'. It'll order the users by the number of posts. It runs to about 4 or 5 pages i think you'll find.

Although I have 1300 odd posts there, I do not consider myself a citizen.

But you are kind've an exception to the general rule that most people who belong to the boards but don't consider themselves citizens have a low post count.

You consider yourself a citizen but have a lowere count than me.
I came to Lovely on Agust 19th 2005, but still do not consider myself a citizen. not since the Beaugian Movement.

Even people like Schaf who have around 18000 posts do not consider themselves citizens. I think that a new cencus 'Do you consider yourself a citizen' is in order.

sure, it would make my system better, and yes, Iehova it doesn't, i already touched on that problem, james is the creator of this system, but i told him that. When i tried to fix it by seeing how many posts a day the forum had then seeing who was over that many posts per day i had the problem of to much effort...

Oh now come on, If you really want to argue this then everyone who viewed the Citizenship Ceremony is a citizen, for the Constitution states 'All are welcome, None may leave'.

and many viewed that thing twice, under different users, and many viewed it simply to see what it was

if you like i shall try and go through your 700 odd users and see how many are active.. it would probably take some time though..

if i sort it by total posts then 87 are active, that's 3 and a bit pages, if i sort it by posts per day it's more accurate but more time consuming.

Beagium is practically a Lovelian colony, and considering how quickly they've expanded I don't think Lovely deserves more land. No.

Not true. We signed a Treaty recognising each others independance (and Babs does not consider himself a citizen of Lovely anymore)

As above, Lovely is not Beaugium and Lovely has never expanded in its MSC history.

Anyway, can you not just give it to them, there culture has expanded since their new boards arrived, and it'll shut them up for a while.

The obvious reason is that Matbaa isn't all that big on the map as is. Nothing like Lovely, at least. Aside from that, expansions are not based on activity - they are based on a wealth of factors including culture, and Matbaa has one of the most well-developed cultures in micronationalism.
