Micronational Alliance Claims

Are the cartographers sure that they don't accept claims from all Micronational Alliances? Answer me this: The Grand Commonwealth is a micronational alliance, and they have land on the MCS map, so why not other Micronational alliance groups such as the C.I.S, A.O.M, P.U.N, and others?
Just Curious.

The Grand Commonwealth is just that - a Commonwealth. It counts as an entire nation, technically, with a large degree of soverigry. This is different from an alliance - the Grand Commonwealth has its own legislature, leader, takes over all of the foreign relations of its individual nations. Quite different from an simple alliance.

No, I mean an alliance group, not an alliance between two nations. By saying this, I mean something like the CIS. Would they be accepted if they ever had a claim?

Does the number of nations in the alliance make any difference really? An alliance is not an entity that can be regarded as a single nation. The Grand Commonwealth, however, can be. According to most people, anyways :P

Yes, it does, as some nations within the alliance may have more citizens than others and therefore require more land than others in the same alliance. Would alliances of this type be allowed to claim land? Yes or No?

Also, the CIS is a lot like the Grand Commonwealth - we have our own leader extra, we have a senate

And all nations have to accept the constitution. The Senate also takes control of whether or not the entire alliance wants to open a treaty with another micronation. Sure, the member nations themselves can have whatever treaties they like with whoever they like, but it doesn't do anything to the alliance's diplomatic relations, only theirs.

i like this idea as it lets nations that are not in the mcs to join if they are in cis, but, as cis keeps gaining members what will happen when a new member joins when we already have the land as expansion will only be allowed if it has a largeish number of citizens. if it doesn't that may mean they get no Micras territory and the question is still there, what if the cis collapses like the usc what will happen to territory.

what about reasources mined in countrys in cis who will they go to?

As Zayd said to me- if a nation withdraws from the CIS, it has every legitimate right to that land.

The Grand Commonwealth is not an alliance. It is virtually a single nation with extensively autonomous subdivisions comprised of formerly independent micronational entities. They have a unified executive, legislature, defence and foreign departments. The CIS is nothing like the GC in comparison.

Withdrawl from the GC, for instance, requires the approval of the GC legislative and executive bodies. The CIS does not. A marked and important difference right there.

I stated that the MCS will REVIEW an application put forward by the CIS and made some personal opinions and recommendations on how to improve chances of acceptance into this society. Saying that I will review the application does not mean I will approve it. It entirely depends on how much the CIS is willing to unify itself in order to gain entrance to this organisation.

The CIS senate is a highly organised government body which does have extensive control over member nations. I am sure the senate would have something to say if a nation withdrew from the CIS.
We are more similar to the GC than you think...
