as to whether something is funny or not all comes down to personal taste and opinions...

Spangle, didn't you bring up your "the Germans are jolly nice chaps" point when GSO was first founded? I seem to remember someone saying the 2 German maps don't particularly get on anyway...

noobishness is noobishness... be that bad spelling, begging for money or posts, or going against the rules we keep trying to point out.

i'm okay with the first one.
the second one none of us do, but every member who's on here more than once every 3 days goes off-topic loads, inc. you...
and the third one, i'm sure i haven't broken too many of them

You came back a day after you'd left! The place was running downhill faster than a steam locomotive, Ryan had bailed out, we had more free space than Algeria, and you see that as positive change? What on Earth is the matter with you?

They don't. The OIK was the original map for german micronations, but in the eyes of some German micronationalists it had two major drawbacks.

Firstly, it was totally unrealistic, with no actual agreed constants (how big is it? is the mapped area the whole world or not? Why does it look so weird?

Secondly, since it catered to all micronations its membership included those who were not entirely 'serious' about micronationalism.

As a result, all the really serious (mostly?) 'themed' nations split off to form a new map, modeled closely on Earth. Basically, they pretty much hate the OIK types, and there's a lot of animosity between the two maps. There have been some attempts at inter-world co-operation, although these appear to have made few inroads.
