The JTV Match Report Of Jamzinia V Lovely-

Jamzinia 3 - 1 Lovely

JMZ Goal - Villa 45'
JMZ Goal - Villa 60'
Lovely Goal - Hill 77'
JMZ Goal - Zandine 87'

The first goal came just before half time, on 45 minutes, Jordansen carried the ball extremely well, before playing a lofted ball into Ian Villa, at the edge of the box. Villa took the ball excellently, adjusting himself to place the ball in the top right hand corner of the net, a good and well placed finish. 8 minutes after the break, Glenning seemingly put Jamzinia 2-0 up, only to find the goal had been ruled out for offside, a decision that was quite blatantly correct. The second goal came when Jordansen played a long ball to the feet of Yballa, who played a neat layof to Ian Villa, Villa turned a stuck the ball goalwards with some force, the keeper's leap to prevent the ball reaching the top left corner of the net was in vain, a fantastic goal from 18 yards, on 60 minutes. On 77 minutes, Mcinroe played a superb long ball in to Hill who headed the ball in the bottom left corner; beating the poorly placed Williams, and giving Lovely fresh hope. On 86 minutes we were treated to the goal of the match; a spectacular 25 yard efford from Laurent Zandine. Zandine held the ball up well on the edge of the area before unleashing a blistering shot into the bottom left corner. The goal rounded off a very decent performance for Zandine, who looks set to be a promising player for Jamzinia and Port Royal FC this season. Deep into injury time, Jamzinia almost wrapped up the game through Yballa who struck the ball from 20 yards out only to strike the base of the left post that ultimately preserved a lifeline for Lovely, who rapidly cleared. The final wistle blew; a good result for Jamzinia, though I'm sure Lovely will be confident they are still in the tie. The result did seem a fair reflection on the result, with extremely good performances coming from Jordansen (LB), Zandine (CM), and Villa (ST).
