it's like the Republic of Congo, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. same initial name, different nations...dr-spangle wrote:but the land says:
"Gaia"
the treaty says:
"Gaia"
same thing so it's both or none

yes, but these refer to the Kingdom of Gaia, and the Republic of Gaia, not both to the Republic...dr-spangle wrote:yes but two things saying democratic republic of congo would be referring to the same thing...
ps. the China example would have been my second example...

He's not saying that. He meant the "Gaia" on the map is named "Gaia", it is part of the CIS. The CIS has a treaty refering to the Micronation of Gaia. It's no co-incidence.Iehova wrote:That doesn't make sense, if I started a micronation called the United States of Gaia it wouldn't be bound by that treaty.dr-spangle wrote:let's look on the map..
it says "Gaia"
look on the treaty it says: "Gaia"
same.

even though it is not labelled the same as the nation mentioned in the treaty itself?dr-spangle wrote:no but the nation on the map is bound by the treaty.

Republic of Gaia, Independant of Gaia, 2 different governments but branching out from the same thing. It's two different nations, but with the same culture, language etc. REPUBLIC of Gaia not in the treaty!

I don't think it was, which means the CIS broke the treaty...Iehova wrote:Was Gaia taken off the map at any time after it was declared to be dead?

How would that be in breach of the treaty? (and I'm looking into whether it was.)Craitman wrote:I don't think it was, which means the CIS breached the treaty...Iehova wrote:Was Gaia taken off the map at any time after it was declared to be dead?
And for the final time, on the map, the "gaia" within the CIS has no prefix of "Republic of".

Because the land should not be "Gaia's" if they leave/die.kingjames wrote:How would that be in breach of the treaty? Because they nation changed into the Republic, hence them wanting to be removed...

Hold on.dr-spangle wrote:they were already the republic and if it was the republic of gaia it would be marked that way on the map... or any of the forums...
The map also states Jamzinia as Jamzinia, not the Kingdom of Jamzinia, which James is titled as King.
So, you're talking against yourself really.
Who said they were dead? They had an original forum that is no longer in use, but that doesn't mean they are dead. And quite frankly you have no rights to declare nations dead no matter how much activity they are recieving. Land is given to CIS as a whole for CIS admin to share out.Craitman wrote:Because the land should not be "Gaia's" if they leave/die.kingjames wrote:How would that be in breach of the treaty? If that's the case, then this is a different Gaia to the one on the lands of the CIS, and therefore these lands have nothing to do with "The republic of Gaia".Because they nation changed into the Republic, hence them wanting to be removed...
