Read the whole topic before wading in to contribute; it's far too complex. Land is given to the CIS as a whole, the CIS admin then sub-divide the land.
if you read it, then you'd understand what i'm saying, and note that spangle agrees on the principle that the cis admin can't give land to a nation (read=people) that doesnt exist.
You obviously haven't read it then. If you had, you'd know I've been posting on it since the first page. It's largely been between Myself, Spangle and Hieu. Internal boarders are CIS' business, the MCS declares our external boarders, we then establish our internal. You'd also know that there is a dispute regarding the ownership and legitimacy of Gaia if you'd read it.

Spangle's worked out that Gaia accounts for 0.9% of the CIS' activity. If you are going to recognise this illegal breakaway, and recognise that this "gaia" is the same gaia as on the map, surely the claim should be alot smaller.

CIS hasn't really helped us with our activity, we're trying to make our activity without help from the CIS as a whole organisation. Spangle individually has helped, but nothing special from CIS.

The CIS hasn't helped with your activity directly but it has helped you a great deal in securing land (for the time during which you were a member). You would never have gotten that ammount should you have claimed individually.

Yes it was, prior to that I said Gaia accounts for 0.9% of CIS activity, you said you were second highest poster in Gaia, I said that shows a great deal seeing as you have only 32 posts.

but that has nothing to do with Gaia becoming independent... :?

Who said it was? The topic is primarily regarding Gaia's land claim; activity has a large part to do with that.

You guys should just discuss the Independance separately either on one of youse guys' forums or via IM. Then, if it is approved, the land claim could be considered by the MCS (although judging from the talk about activity it doesn't sound like the current claim will be accepted).
