A 6-part television series shown on national television

National Anthem and Eurovision entry in iTunes, both of which were composed specially for our country (and apparently was in top five of world music charts)

One of the most advanced websites of any micronation

Inclusion in the Lonely Planet Guide to Micronations

4 national newspapers

A National bank

two national radio stations
Whilst we are on the topic of Lovely (which is seemingly what you have brought up) I'd just like to say that in my opinion, none of the above are worth as much as some of the aspects of culture that several individuals of the micronations who have not recieved national television coverage have grafted towards. Nations such as Matbaa, Riponia, New-Brittania and Natopia have my admiration. Lovely, do not. The leaders and citizens of Matbaa, Riponia, New-Brittania and Natopia have worked to establishing a culture. They deserve it. As do may of the other more un-recognised nations. As far as I am concerned the "Lovely-Sector" may as well be named the "New-Brittanian Sector" or "The Matbiac Sector", or the "Oscland Sector", at least those nations closely resembled a micronation and generally operate as such.

Very good, now point me to New Lovely's culture which is what I asked for.

Sounds like a case of sour grapes to me. Maybe someone doesn't like the fact that someone else decided to split away from someone's nation because someone thinks it sucks? ;)

Have to agree. They could have at least came up with a more original name. Yet they claim they have bags of culture - do point me to it.

Their just starting out, give 'em a little slack. You know how n00bs to micronationalism are.

I say no. And not just because they're claiming land Novatainia should like.

A week? Barely 100 posts? And no obvious culture? No.

Don't swear here. There's no need for it. When you don't get what you want put forward a mature and valid argument. Kicking up a fuss; using capitals, exclaimation marks and swear words wont get you anywhere in this wonderful hobby. For a better name, don't be so lazy and think of one yourself. I'm pretty sure everyone here would agree with me when I say the name "New Lovely" isn't creative nor original, nor is "F*ck Sake" in capitals.

rude, cultureless, and lazy...

it isn't the hardest thing to think up a name for a nation - just look at how many micronations there are out there. i'll give you three nation names off the top of my head that could be better - Adelia, Koliland, Jotunstan. They're not the best, but it's better than just putting "New" onto the name of the nation you broke off from...

Yeah, I'd have to agree that swearing is not culture.

If you really want to be new Lovely - perhaps as a replacement for Lovely keeping collapsing, if I read the first post right, you really need to talk to them about land, not MCS.

If you want to be a proper separate micronation, then all previous arguments apply.
