WMFA Qualifiers Results/Fixtures

The winners of each 1st round two-legged tie are put into a pot and a 2nd round of more two-legged games are played between the winners. The winners of these games then qualify automatically for the FMF World Cup. Therefore two teams qualify from the WMFA qualifying format.

Round 1, 1st Legs
1 June = Greenuk 1-1 Shireroth
1 June = Houland 0-2 Istvanistan
2 June = Mania 0-3 New Brittania
2 June = Beaugium 2-2 Zandarijn SAR
2nd Legs
5 June = New Brittania 4-1 Mania
5 June = Zandarijn SAR 0-6 Beaugium
6 June = Shireroth 2-2 Greenuk
6 June = Istvanistan 3-1 Houland

Greenuk, Istvanistan, New Brittania, and Beaugium are into the next round!

they didn't forfeit the title, that is still theirs.
just that because they left, they weren't allowed to play, so Gaia (who finished 2nd) got auto qualification. Now that Beaugium are back, and the AEFA qualifying has been sorted out (without Gaia in it), Beaugium have to qualify this time round.

You're one of the favourites to go through from the WMFA mind, so not much pressure there

yep, hosts and the previous winner qualify automatically.
hence Novatainia, Tokidoki, and Gaia not having to play qualifiers...

Can I point out Gaia were not last years winners but qualify automatically on a technicality

Can I also point out that the best team did not win, I felt sorry for Peruzzi and Menti for not being able to score due to Fred Frederickson being lucky. MOTM of that match was definately Daniello, he did all he could but unfortunately a flukey goal by Phillipson gave you the trophy!
