Matthew, that is the same squad you PMed me, but i have some qualms...

you've named 17 players, not 16
you need to put nationalities of players in there, plus name your captain

and IMHO i think having two goalkeepers in your squad would be a good idea...

but apart from that it's fine

Cherry Trees 2-4 Port Rackham Rangers

Match Report to Follow Later. See match at Channel 1 - www.freewebs.com/micrasport

United Republic 2-1 Osjaton Aztecs

Aztecs thought they were lucky after the first goal went in but a thriving comeback from United Republic FC showed that they were no pushovers. Aztecs with the 3-5-2 started off well, dominating the wings and managing to manage a corner early in the game.

Perryman swung the corner inswinging and almost got lucky as it hit the post but disaster happened as Verkslamp puts it behind his own line in an attempt to clear it. The stadium went mad, booing and chanting for him to get off the pitch but it didn't lower URFC's morale as they fought hardly to get back into the game.

Nothing came in the first half but the immediate response was in the 2nd half where an Alan Knight put 1 in the back of the net and coincidentally straight after being replaced by Robert King. It seemed levelled but the new introduction of King up front showed fresh legs and more attacking with the willingness to chase on the balls and try to get anything out of it, it seems like the Aztecs gameplan was becoming undone. And that was right when Jesse Lee put the ball into the box with Robert King superbly volleying it pass the goalkeeper.

However the result maybe 2-1 to URFC but with Aztecs at home next time, anything can happen and with that away goal; Aztecs still have a chance.

Seongchen FC 3-1 AFC Heartpool

Channel 2 - www.freewebs.com/micrasport

Kingsland Mavericks 1-0 Daegon United

A match which could have created many goals which could have gone either way goes the right way. Kingsland Mavericks struggled to break through the 5-4-1 of Daegon United with Gaarsen unable to work his way through the defence nor Custis being able to receive the ball with acres of space. Lee Jin-Su however at the other end should have scored 2 goals from 2 brilliant crosses however the ball got kicked over the crossbar on both occasions.

Daegon carried on the attack in 2nd half by Giorgio Menti and Antonio Vaiano linking up but the ball was sent wide on this occasion. 2 minutes later, Henry Racckam gave a reckless penalty away but luckily Lee Jin-Su's shot didn't have enough power to beat Fabrizio Daniello. Straight after with a lofted ball forward, James Custis managed to open Freddie Gaarsen up who knocks it straight past the keeper which gave Kingsland some breathing space. However the rest of the game their chances were plentiful and gave the impression that they could win by more. Lee Nam-Hwan had the closest chance to make it 2-0 after misplacing a cross with keeper Kim Byung-Du having to punch it clear.

Overall a good display for Daegon!

Tomorrows Coveraged Match: Can Osjaton Aztecs get back into the game? Channel 3 will bring you the action straight from Craitland as URFC lead Aztecs into the quest for the Semi Fianls of the EMUFA Champions League!
