Daegon United v Kingsland Mavericks Coverage tomorrow along with a match report of Heartpool v Seongchen but anyways:

FRIDAYS MATCHES

Osjaton Aztecs 1-4 United Republic FC
(URFC win 6-2 on Agg)

match stream available at www.freewebs.com/micrasport

Port Rackham Rangers 3-1 Cherry Trees FC
(Port Rackham Win 7-3 on Agg)

Cherry Trees came out with a 4-3-3 as for Port Rackham who came out with a completely rotated side with the same formation. And it was Cherry Trees who got off to a brighter start! With Ste Traoré bringing down Tereminus in what was a very clumsy tackle, Cherry Trees won a penalty. But thanks to the quick alertness of Turk ronAjain, the ball was saved. ronAjain is knocking on Tokidoki's door to make him permanently no. 1 keeper despite what happened in last years FMF World Cup. But shortly straight after a breakdown of communication in the defence let Alexis Tereminus a clean run in front of goal, taking a shot destined for the net but remarkably saved by ronAjain. However Sherman was there to hit the rebound with no defence cover and the keeper down. It took Port Rackham 15 minutes to reply, Port Rackham skipper Focan picked up a loose ball, ran to the edge of the Cherry Trees box but his shot was parried away and cleared but only to Francesc Xavier Alonso who took a dipping volley from 30 yards out and lobbing the keeper.

Worse was to come, with nothing answering that bizzare goal, Cherry Trees Struggled in the 2nd half with Gonzalez Crossing the ball into Seol Tae-Ki who scored a mimic of his 1st leg goal but this time infront of the Ripon Kop. The Kop were roaring with You'll Never Walk Alone, Craitland's travelling supporters were left in dispair. Fanfield was alive. Cherry Trees knew it was all over, both teams just played it off in a careless, unrhythmic way. Right at the end, a handball from Hjansen gave another Craitish, Jon Anders Larsen a freekick. And that was the end of the match with Larsen piledriving the shot straight through the wall with enough power to beat the keeper too. Final score 3-1, Port Rackham also have a domestic game on Sunday as well.

and didn't play too well either...as with the rest of the team.

anyways:

AFC Heartpool 0-0 Seongchen FC
(Seongchen go through 3-1 on Agg)

The goaless match was unexpected. Heartpool could have easily came out easily as winners in this match with Paul Larkin returning in goal. Seongchen with a pretty much unchanged side, started off better with Lee Ki-Cheol almost scoring straight from Kick-off. But that seemed to be Seongchens only decent chance as Heartpool dominated the match with Ka'an Peterson kicking himself after failing to score with 6 shots which all should have been netted. Wasteful Heartpool will now regret entering this tournament but can only look forward to next year's EMUFA Champions League as for Cherry Trees FC and Osjaton Aztecs.

Daegon United 2-2 Kingsland Mavericks
(Kingsland Mavericks go through 3-2 on agg)
