A nice claim ... (though you may want to colour inside the red for the capital symbol, and administrative centre (though I gather that's normally used only for colonies ...)
However, your forum link isn't working for me ...
Babkha rebels aye? Max will have something to say about that ...

Forum link should work now, thanks for pointing that out.
We are currently in a state of high alert, and therefore must approve each new account. Anyone who wishes to visit may get an email from me asking who you are - so please do not be insulted. It's just that if we don't know you, we'll want to double-check before giving you access to the forum.
I will fill in those colored areas and re-upload the map. Thanks for pointing that out, too.
We actually have two capital cities - one which is historical and the place where the Viziers meet (Tanis) and the other where the rest of the governmental functions take place - which is the modern, official capital (Iskanderun) - hence the two symbols being used.
Edit: Done

Thanks And yeah - the idea was discussed long ago by the former Sultan of Hatay and the former Shah of Babkha. They wanted to honor both locations since one was destined to be the religious center (and religion means a lot to Hatayyians) and the other more modern and therefore the place where the pencil-pushers would get together.

just a small correction for your claim, you need to change the text used so that it isn't blending in with the colour of the nation...
ps. i've signed up to your forums, but i can't access my hotmail, so if a validation email's been sent i won't be able to use that...

While I appreciate your attempt to interfere with our claim, might I be permitted to point out a few things?
Obviously I wouldn't know anything about your previous claim attempts. But I will say that after looking at your forum, we appear more active, more organized, have more citizens then you, and have been around longer. In the end, maybe such small details will be what helps us get the claim we'd like.
Did that make me sound like a bit**?? Yeah, probably did.

you try being active were the only people who have joined post once then f*** off, theres no point being organized because of my previous point and how do you know you've been around longer? (i know you have but just as a technical detail) and yes that did make you sound a bit of a bit**Queen of Hatay wrote:But I will say that after looking at your forum, we appear more active, more organized, have more citizens then you, and have been around longer. I may not understand the reasons why and how the MCS come up with who gets what bits of land, but I know that citizenship has something to do with it. You've had a hard time with keeping people around - and for that I am sorry. But it's not my fault that your previous claims have been rejected, yet you felt like shouting in a thread that I started, and interfering with my claim, which I see as highly disrespectful. And like I said you "appear" etc etc - from the Forum, it doesn't look like you've been around longer than a few months, whereas we've been around for a little while longer.Swamp Candle wrote:you try being active were the only people who have joined post once then f*** off, theres no point being organized because of my previous point and how do you know you've been around longer? Swampie, no offence, but shut the hell up. Stop swearing. Although feel free to contest the claim.
Nice claim. I'll have to redo it though - your fonts are too Vista.

Hatay was created as a province of Babkha almost two years ago, and has just recently seceded to become independent.
I think that there are few nations more deserving of a claim like this than Hatay, I mean, based on cultural development alone, most nations couldn't hold a candlestick to it.
I therefore wholeheartedly urge the Council to vote aye!

@Swamp Candle (yeah i know i'm late into the argument) - you may have attempted to claim a small part of the area, but if you're less active an less organised than Hatay would take priority. plus Hatay's claim encompasses more resources so they could build on trade and such with that, whereas you don't have an abbundance of anything on the small bit you wanted...
ok, everyone continue what you were doing...

Technically Durk. takes priority due to him claiming first, but its whoever's vote is finished first
