MRWS is terrifically complex. I'm quite sure it's all very precise and all that, but SNARL is a bit more... pick up and play.

Meh, let's use ITRA. It's a slightly underpowered version of SNARL and seems to work alright in Tokidoki...

but the more complex it is the more it is like real world systems and the better the realism the more fun... fun in a sense of large calculations and loopholes in the event of war.. but i'm sure you guys find that fun too :D

You want loopholes, try a magic war ...
We thought we had rules ... now, 3/4's through, we have a long list of things to discuss when it's over, and I finally just discovered the no-Godmodding one ..

Complex stuff is only good if you know what you're talking about. Everyone knows what a dragon or an ent is. What a F-19 Bomber is compared to an F-18, or F-17? I'd have no idea ...

Strength based is like ITRA, Lyam, but lets you move the strength around a little more (instead of having the same force with each commander ... much easier to share friends units if they can't be on all the time)

Anyone else want a war? Especially ones that haven't had a chance to join one yet?

dude there is a reason we are using the internet to have our own countrys because we don't follow real world rules, because there are no rules in cyberspace and having a budget just makes it stupidly complex, time consuming and boring so SNARL sounds the best to me

Frankly, you can choose which rules you want in a war anyway, so if you really wanted, MCS could write their own again ....
But MRWS is meant to control it now ...

it would be much easier if there was only one map ...

Umm, Swamp Candle, before you get too angry, note that Pete practically IS MRWS, he's one of the key leaders. And MRWS is an organisation, not a person (you referred to it as him)

SNARL is so much better the MRWS, its quicker and easier to begin with.
Except S.N.A.R.L. has become inactive.

Well, SNARL is the most popular for a good reason- it's simple and efficient.
I wouldn't advise restarting the MRL on these fora again, but if we were ever to co-ordinate a recWar on these fora, I'd say we use SNARL.

Inter-Tokidokian-Recwar-Association.

Fairly similar to SNARL, but again, slightly simpler, and with only 10000 troops.
