I have never heard a thing about Amoria and after reading everything I was able to come to about them, I see little reason they should get such a Massive beggining claim. I believe that something a little more moderate would be to the benefit of all those involved in this claim.

So at the current my vote is: Nein

however I believe that we should make it a point to encourage them, I will change my vote to a yes if they agree to get ride of enough land pixels equivalent to the size of Mesquakie and Gran Columbia. It doesn't have to be those counties exactly, but as long as that much land is taken away I would agree to this claim. Right now it is too big.

I agree with Fenix. That's really a little too much for such a young nation- I think they do deserve some form of expansion, but definitely not that much.

In relations to claims like this in general, I would also like to bring up a claim that we voted on not that long ago.

I am sure that you remember the state that Seperatist championed to no end: The "Intergalactic Condiminium"?

It lasted for only a month to my knowledge and clogged up a huge amount of space on northern Cibola. And to my knowledge I could see no nation that could have been less worthy of the space it took up.

It was this incident in particular that highlights my belief that we should encourage tiny claims and discourage larger claims. In this way nations that need to die do so, and nations that deserve the land get it, but slowly and methodically and a little bit more realistically (not a big worry, but it would be welcome side effect).

This claim has many similarities that I would like those involved to take a look at specifically.

After checking through their fora thoroughly, I can safely agree with Fenix.
Though this micronation evidently has a lot more work put into it than many of Hieu's other creations, it seems unable to maintain a huge deal of activity.
It has plenty of well-established citizens with loads of other citizenships (probably why it seems to go inactive easily) and a snazzy forum- always a good sign- but the fact that Amoria's activity has been slowing down rapidly ever since I first saw the fora when Hieu introduced it to us doesn't merit all this land.
If they remove Mesquakie, the biggest province, I'd say yes.
But my vote currently remains NO.

Spangle would you be willing to relay this quote to the claim thread under the heading anonymous for us? I believe that they should hear this. Even though it was posted March 21st it is as relavent today as ever, and they need to understand that they can get their yesses if they make their claim more reasonable. Not to mention we need to start putting some speed into this, this claim is going by very slowly.

If you need my help with anything Spangle, ASK! we need to get the MCS moving along at a faster clip, especially since I've never seen so many threads in the council before.

hmmm, no I'm going to have to stick with my original post, he has entirely too much land going in the first place, and I would like to shrink his claim down a bit more then just Mesquakie and Gran Colombia. But I believe that sacrificing two counties is enough.

My offer still stands, mesquakie and Gran Colombia and he gets my yes.
