the Thread.

Or, if you're lazy, the map.

I can't vote, since I'm President.

hmm, The USSC has come a long way from the older days of being a very unserious nation. and has exploded under Vilhelm's wing. It has done much for itself and is showing signs of a good development of culture as well as the development of good Socialism. :)

My vote in this case is: Ja

however, I am curious, why not add more onto the mainland? you are a pretty small nation.

The closer you are to the equator, the easier it is to fire rockets; this is why the USSR launched its rockets from Kazakhstan (well, one reason). Ertia is the site of Sashaburg Space Centre, where we launch all our rockets from. That is why we don't expand our mainland, comrade!

that's still no where near the equator...

the effect from there would be minimal.

we would launch your rockets for you, man with 5 names...

like how EU lauches i's nrockets from kazakhstan.

Either way, we feel its necessary. However minimal the effect, it's better than launching them from Benkerngrad.

Comrade Vilhelm has a point in the first place, besides would you really want a nuclear accident to go wrong on your homeland? if it was huge it may be fine, however if it is as small as the USSC is now, that wouldn't be all that well to have happen and make half of your nation radioactive in some form or another.

Besides, I'm sure the USSC isn't another Novaya Zemlya. ;)

I hadn't thought of that - but it's true! Wow, that'd be terrible. I'm glad we didn't set up camp on the Motherland. 8)
