Micras Weather

Post by Layal1 »
Considering how recently the weather has been major news recently in the United States, plus seeing the charts of distances and time zones for the map, I've been wondering what the weather patterns for Micras would be like.
I know it's rather silly thought, but you can't help the curious, can you?

karnali get angry volcanos and other curses now and then.... whatever calamity you can think off, karnali gets it from time to time...

it has been rumored that a small percentage are man-made.. and further, Karnali Intelligence Agency investigations reveal they all originate from the Babkhan continent..but, its only a small percentage..

the large percentage is well, weather controlled... or better explained, created by the forces that created the MCS... aka warvoid... karnali gets all the worse calamities and disasters from the curses that warvoid keeps throwing at karnali from time to time....

so, yeah.. if you want to live in a place where you have to prove you are worthy of living, come to karnali.. where every day you spend, is a day you saved your own life!... become a true hero!

We don't know that this is abnormal really. Just that Hurricanes come in cycles, and that one has hit. For all we know this is the same degree of destruction rained down on Spanish treasure galleons. I'd say blaming it all on global warming is a little far fetched, considering I haven't seen any actual evidence as to why global warming would have this effect, just speculation and people pointing to a connection that could be nothing more than just coincidence.

Yes, but how do we know that its global warming causing it. It could just be freak chance; saying that "a one degree increase has occurred" and magically assuming its caused two giant hurricanes strikes me as a stretch. If they could show HOW this is possible, maybe I'd listen.

And because we are more developed than ever before, the effects are much greater. If the same thing happened 200 years ago, it would not have had near the same 'effect'.

Weather is not sanctioned by the MCS. Members dictate whether it's raining or sunny on their citizens or not. So if it's a shitty day outside, blame your leader.

two things to say

1) america has 3-5 more hurricanes expected this year
2) the reason they connect the hurricanes to global warming is that hurricanes need a lot of water vapor to form and with the increase in heat there is more water vapor

In other words, where's the zarking CONTROL SAMPLE?
Re: Micras Weather

not really... cause your area of concern is really Earth... on another planet other stuff could influence the weather... for example, distance from the sun.

and to understand the pattern of weather over the years, you really need to look just at earth... offcourse, you need to also look at the factors that influence our weather like distance from sun and position of moon..

So we're orbiting Sean Connery? Not that I having any problems with Mr. Connery himself, but it's got to be disturbing looking up into the sky every day to see him floating up there, casting his life-giving rays upon us...

...I believe, if I recall the old posts right, that Micras' solar system is supposedly centered on the star Atos, which is a G-type star... in other words, a medium-ish yellow star like our sun.
