Lovely Reduction

I really don't see the need for a Lovely reduction in size. Would someone mind explaining it to me?

Or is just, as I presume, the age old problem: greed of other nations.

Why is there a rule about only having 1 aircraft carrier per fleet? I find that it isn't realistic to constrain the fleet commanders like that. Its a war for goodness sake! People amass large forces in war.

Why can't we just have the battleground as the whole map? It makes no sense that country X would allow country Y to amass outside the battleground and then come in with enough force to destroy them. There should be a correction to the Lovely Royal Navy's 1st Battleship Squadron's starting location. It is currently at sea en route to seas East of the Isle of Finistere.

The journey would just repeated untill all the troops are there. Also I have a feeling that some Transporters can carry that amount of people. No military transport could and I think only supertankers could even come close to carrying that many. It still doesn't explain the vast amount of resources...
