We do not count them to have 50k citizens, either. If they did, they would take over the map.

Momiji probably can't be habitable anyway. Not without a different environment from an earth-clone. Here's what I did: I split the map into 15 degree images (12 maps in total) and found the pixel count in each map. Used the equation (I ignored the 6.917^2 part - It's not needed and is an arbitary co...

We still don't make maps of ther country, they make them themselves. I don't really see many people calculating the pixel area of the map they have just drawn to see it fit. And it also be a hell lot of work to change everyone's pixels to fit exactly. IMO that's a problem. It's our duty to make the...

Do you remember how much people complained when I proposed the budget system to overhaul the recwar forum at MNN? Now, it may have been a perfect system, but people are lazy when it comes to number-crunching and don't want to spend hours calculating pixels. Pixel crunching is our job, Ryan, not the...

Personally I still have problems with this, and I don't think this should be offical yet. Nor do I think that a census is good enough for an active citizen count, but that would mean that we would have to increase the LPP if we had a more accurate count, most likely. As well, I don't think brand new...

All you need is the y value of each pixel of your nation on the MCS world map, and a means of feeding those values into that formula and summing the results. I said "easy way to calculate". I know that there are batch picture splitting, but what you are suggesting is making 1800 pictures ...

And it is also true that when that will be adopted Antica will expand much. So there is a need for breathing space
If Shireroth gives up most of Antica proper, (As will most likely inevitably happen) Antica will have plenty of space.

No, it's not simulating real nations. It's basically cataloging secessionist micronations and their claims on real land.

Might be a bit big, though. Most secessionist micronations are small.

Does that mean that Matbaa has to be tundra? We're simulating a desert/ arid nation at the moment. I'd prefer a Meditteranean Climate myself, but I don't mind keeping the land I already have. When will the next map update be online? You don't have to be tundra, as your nation is what you make of it...

This "waiver" system may have its problems because if one nation that is just about the same as another gets accepted but the other rejected, you may get accused of being Biased. We are always going to be accused of being biased. The objective here is to reduce the justified (in the accus...

Well, the entire point of the waivers mentioned here is to allow new nations that are well liked. Probably the best examples of these nations in the past are Ripona and Paulovia, as opposed to, for example, the CIS . Part of the justification is to allow nations in that will get along well with the ...

Even me, Mr. Rules Nazi, agrees with it. If it is endorsed by the community to cut the nation slack due to how well it is welcomed into the community, then I think it deserves it. HOWEVER, I'm just afraid of the obvious accusations of bias that will occur if the MCS itself starts the waiver. Perhaps...

Finally, do you really think you have more power if you have more land?
That is what the common view is, unfortuanatly. Why do you think Shireroth is viewed as a superpower by some? Or the GC? Because of its land. Which is wrong.

More like violated without the quotes. It's clear in the Terms of Service: 2. Members of the MCS may not join another micronational cartographic society, unless it is sponsored by us [the MCS]. If you choose to rank your micronation as a member of the MCS, then that must be the sole source of maps f...
