Craitland's there man, and Tokidoki is Okie-Dokie.
Voice Over: Live from the Novatica Entertainment Center, a special World Cup Final edition of "Before the Whistle". Tonight, the boys are joined by Novatainian Striker Iago Othello and Novatainian Captain Joseph Morrowind. Later in the night, the panel will also be talking to the captains of the two finalists. So ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to 'Before the Whistle'. Please welcome your hosts; Tim O'Brian and George Duncan!
*Both appear onstage to tremendous applause*
Tim O'Brian:
Thank you, and welcome to 'Before the Whistle'. I'm Tim Duncan and joining me is my partner in crime and former Novatainian Defender George Duncan. G'Day George, how are you?
George Duncan:
I'm great Tim, and how good has this world cup been? Between the Red and Black army banning and the MI domination, its been great. The footballs been good as well.
Tim:
Yes, well tonight we have two special guests. Novatainian Striker Iago Othello and Novatainian Captain Joseph Morrowind.
*Crowd goes wild as Morrowind and Othello go on stage*
Tim:
Boys, thanks for coming
Iago:
No problem
George:
What's it been like playing a World Cup on home soil?
Joe:
It's been great, having the fans there to support us, pitty we couldn't make the semi's, but there's always tomorrow.
George:
And how do you think the teams will go tomorrow?
Iago:
Has to be Tokidoki. Home ground, home crowd, I mean nearly half the team plays club football at that stadium.
Tim:
True, but Craitland have the experience. I think they can win this one. So, quick poll. George?
George:
I agree with Iago, Toki all the way
Tim:
Joe?
Joe:
I have to say Tokidoki as well.
Tim:
Well looks like I'm the only one tipping Craitland. Speaking of tipping, you still have to do that thing Iago.
Iago:
Damn, I though you'd forgotten about that...
George:
We never forget a bet like that...
Tim:
Yes, well coming up next we cross live to both teams camps to hear about their preparations plus their final words. We'll be right back.
*Applause, then ad break*
((OOC: Could Lyam and Craitman post a little message saying about the teams expectations, plus any final messages to the other team. Thanks))

Reporter: "Here we are with Craitish captain and Biulya äqi Jedu star, Manta Pellegrino. So, Manta, how does it feel to be leading out our country in the biggest Micrasian football tournament?"
Manta Pellegrino: "It's a great feeling, to know that I'll be the first Craitish player to step onto the turf for the final. I know I'd be nothing without the rest of the team, and I think leading such great players into this game will give me a lot of confidence in us all and what we can achieve here."
R: "So you believe the players will give all they can in this game?"
MP: "They've given all they can in the games that have got us to where we are, so I have every faith that they'll stand up to the challenge."
R: "You've all played extremely well this tournament. What do you think has been the vast improvement on last year's performances?"
MP: "Well, this year we had a lot more games under our belts beforehand. I mean, last year we just went straight into the first group game without playing before. But this year we've played friendlies and qualifiers against some very tough opponents I'm surprised weren't in the tournament this time round."
R: "You've already played the co-hosts in this tournament, in the group stage, and won by the narrowest of margins. How do you think that will boost your confidence, knowing you beat them only days ago?"
MP: "Narrow is the perfect word for it. If we hadn't have beaten them, we wouldn't be standing where we are now. But I don't think we'll take that much from that game, the group stages are a very different thing to a straight-forward knock-out match. But as long as we can repeat it, I don't mind."
R: "Who do you think will be Cräiteland's catalyst if you win on Friday?"
MP: "We have a very strong squad this year, with a lot of our players playing for the "big two" in Cräiteland [Cherry Trees and Osĵätoņ Aztecs], so those of course will be big players for us in this game. Not only do we have experience with players like Alexis Tereminus and Paulio Demhivo, but we also have youngsters like Adám Perryman and Freddie Gaärsen who play in our starting line-up often. But I think any of our players can do damage to Tokidoki one way or another."
R: "Thank you Manta, for your insight into the final on Friday. But lastly, do you have anything to say to Tokidoki?"
MP: "As usual I wish them the best of luck, and, well, we'll find out who's the winners come the final whistle."
R: "OK, back to Kraig in the studio."
Kraig Ula: "Thank you to our reporter there, Morteņ Yaqinsen, with our captain, Manta. I'm joined here by Matbaic midfielder, Vaja Neil, who has had the privilege of playing in both Tokidoki's and Cräiteland's leagues with Rillanon Reflex and Osĵätoņ Aztecs respectfully."
Vaja Neil: "Hi, it's a pleasure to be here."
KU: "And it's a pleasure having you here. So, Vaja, who are you tipping for the title?"
VN: "I'm not so sure. I initially thought Cräiteland would be more likely to win, but when I realised Tokidoki are at home, I wasn't sure. About half of Tokidoki's starting eleven play at the Athletic Dome, so they'll be very used to it."
KU: "If there's one player from each team that stands out to you, who is it?"
VN: "As Manta said, Cräiteland's younger players may be the key. Freddie Gaärsen is having a great year, and at only 21 years old, things can only get better for him. I think Cräiteland's manager might be kicking himself a bit after letting Jón Zyxveldtsen become a Tokidokian national. He was great for Cräiteland's under-21 World Cup triumph, and has done the same for Tokidoki here."
KU: "You could have been playing here yourself, Vaja, but Matbaa called you up first."
VN: "Yes. After my time in Tokidoki, I gained Tokidokian citzenship, but still kept myself open to playing for either. I was picked by Matbaa for their qualifiers before Tokidoki could ask me, so I'm theirs. I don't feel at a loss not to be maybe playing in the World Cup Final, but It's a place I'd like to be in some time in my career."
KU: "Thanks, Vaja, that's all the time we have now." But here's how Cräiteland are expected to line-up for their first ever senior final."
Manta Pellegrino: "It's a great feeling, to know that I'll be the first Craitish player to step onto the turf for the final. I know I'd be nothing without the rest of the team, and I think leading such great players into this game will give me a lot of confidence in us all and what we can achieve here."

MicraSport Special - Final Countdown
Ben:
"Welcome to MicraSport special. I'm Ben Marttinen and you're with Final Countdown - the countdown to the world cup final. This year we have two MI nations, Cräiteland and Tokidoki with Tokidoki playing on their home turf. I'm joined now with two former finalists: retired former captain of Gaia Roberto Vincenzo and Gunners Athletic and Beaugium's very own skipper Steve Stevenson. Welcome guys."
Roberto:
"Thank you. It's good to be back but I'm sure that it will be a good final and..."
Steve:
"...Won't be as good as last year though, Beaugium won it."
Ben:
"Let's try not start an argument now. But Roberto you have been looking at the performances and who's your money on?"
Roberto:
"Cräiteland are a strong physical side, they got a good strikeforce, Freddie's got speed and Tereminus has the experience but what a gem they let go, that Zyxveldtsen sure looks a good midfielder on the right and that Jowasaki's not a bad finisher up front. I think Steve's gotta agree with me."
Steve:
"Well yeah, good player indeed but he's Craitish and he'll be an asset to Tokidoki but look at Ichigo Trask. Come last year he was a good Right Mid but it shows how a year has moved on, I think it's slightly unfair he's on the left but he's performed well there, cutting in, Craitland will be worried there but I think they will have the experience and the cutting edge over Tokidoki."
Roberto:
"I don't know. From what I know, home advantage isn't always the case, when I was playing in my days I can remember the COCISAF when Free Republic crashed out in groups and we won and last year Taesong didn't make the final settling for third and we lost also. But I think because of what they did to Gaia, Tokidoki are going to win."
Steve:
"Seems like the middle ages to me. Yeah don't forget who lifted the trophy last year, we didn't have the preparation we had last year so that was our problem this year..."
Ben:
"Sure you didn't...Well anyway goal of the tournament?"
Steve:
"Kenstein for me, that curling shot v Taesong where he tried to cross from deep, not deliberate but bounced at the right time - over the keeper, with enough curl on it, Brilliant."
Roberto:
"That was a view of a Beaugian, from a Gaian it has to be Lukasz Dabrowski, first time shot, not even taking the ball down on the bounce but I think it took the stuffing out of Leon & Venezia."
Ben:
"Yeah I think I agree with that but I don't know which way the final is going to go. Right now, this is it from me, Roberto and Steve. It's a good bye for now."

Reporter: This is Yäkob sonËjen, reporting from the Rillanon Athletic Dome, here with Tokian keeper Turk ronAjain and captain Yafan Firanjan. How are ya, boys?
ronAjain: I'm a little nervous about the coming match, but otherwise, great!
Firanjan: Same. Good to be here, Yäkob.
R: Yafan, what are your thoughts on the coming match?
F: I think we hold the advantage here. We are on home turf, our keeper is a demon in the net, and we have a Craite to give us all of their secrets. *wink* Our forwards have also been on fire, and they should still be pumped from our 4-0 win over Gaia.
R: And Turk, your thoughts?
rA: Well, I've been practicing like mad, but I might still get a lot of trouble from the Cräiteland strikers. It won't be as bad with home-field advantage and my fans cheering for me, but they are some tough blokes. However, I feel that our defenders can hold them off and we can take this match and hoist the cup.
R: Well, how about some predictions, fellas.
F: Tokidoki all the way, 5-1 in our favor.
rA: I'm not quite that enthusiastic, it will probably be a closer match. I'll say a 2-2 tie that leads to Tokidoki taking it. I'll be able to hold the net if our strikers can put some away.
R: Well, there you have it, folks. The Tokians are confident they can win, but will the be able to raise the cup? Friday is the day. Stay tuned, and good luck teams.
