The Sword of Light, forged by the goddess Lumina in the Celestial Temple for her own amusement, is one of the lesser of the Great Swords of Shireroth. Its only power is that of illuminating at the will of its wielder. The sword can illuminate to any brightness, intensity or color.
It was granted to Takano Myksos by Imperial Decree #762, which was issued by Kaiseress Kizzy (1626-1629 AN), and came therefore in possession of the House of Myksos. Around 1630 AN, the sword was passed to the Heavenly Light of Jingdao. Ever since its grant, the Sword became a symbol of power over the Kildarian territories in Apollonia. Even afterthe signing of the Treaty of Gaelen's Landing, it remained in hands of the Heavenly Lights.
