Solidarity is a left-wing political party in Craitland. Having won seats in every general election, it is seen as one of the major five parties in Craitland, and constituted the minor partner of a coalition government with the Social Democrats in 2008. However, it has yet to gain more than 10% of the electoral popular vote.

Ideology

The party is explicitly socialist, supporting the nationalisation and cooperative ownership of businesses and services, and is a proponent of democracy, with some members staunch republicans. Solidarity has an open foreign policy under the belief that socialistic values must be enacted internationally to operate effectively, and is therefore pacifist. The party also takes a hard line of green politics.

The party's logo is a torch being held aloft by a hand, symbolising its beliefs of enlightenment via socialism and its desire to lead the nation forward. The official colour is dark red, although a variety of reds and oranges is used by the party for its visuals.
