The Royal Para-Military Police, abbreviated to RPMP is a gendarmerie force performing military police and civil police duties for the Kingdom of Nova England.

Organisation

The Royal Para-Military Police is currently manned by 20,100 officers under the command of the Warden General. Its organisational structure is based around territorial divisions with some specialist national units that are as follows;

  • National Headquarters – 800 Personnel
  • National Redoubt Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W02 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W03 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W04 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W05 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W06 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W07 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W08 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W09 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W10 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W11 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W12 Division – 1300 Personnel
  • W13 Division - 1300 Personnel
  • Specialist Units;
    • Border Regulation Force – 1800 Personnel
    • Public Mediation Force – 600 Personnel

Roles

The Royal Para-Military Police is a police organisation with a military status, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence, but mostly working for the Ministry of the Internal Affairs.

The RPMP performs the following duties:

  • Assistance to the National Police Force
  • Fighting illegal immigration
  • Fighting international crime
  • Guarding the national borders
  • Guarding the royal palaces and the house of the Witan Chief
  • Military police functions for the Nova English Armed Forces
  • Riot control and protection
  • Security and police work at civilian airports
  • VIP close protection
  • Guarding Military Sites
