History
Ingredients
Red Bear contains Caffeine, Taurine, B Vitamins (B3, B5, B6, B12), Sucrose, and Glucose. To produce Red Bear Sugarfree, sugars sucrose and glucose have been replaced by the sweeteners acesulfame K and aspartame/sucralose.
Controversy
Red Bear has been criticised for its extremely high caffeine content of 80 mg/250 ml (32 mg/100 ml) per can. It also criticised for buying what was known as Dragonmoor City for ❂2 Billion. After the purchase, Senya, which has a very active Ultras scene, banned the sale of Red Bear and criticised the takeover. Also after the purchase, a breakaway team was formed called AFC Dragonmoor City. Which will compete in the Regional Leagues for the 2017-18 season.
