A rich nation with a well developed culture, and the continuing state to Passas, the Greater Pallisican Trade Association has attained relative notoriety during its brief existence, due primarily to the nation's strict emphasis on the economic principles outlined in the essay "A Sustainable Economy".

The word "Pallisica" is a variation of the word "Passas," which is derived from the language of the native kralian inhabitants of Southwestern Keltia. In contrast to the word "Passas," which roughly translates to "home of the Host Spirit," the word "Pallisica" translates to "home of the lovely Passasian."
History of Passio-Corum
Media has played a central role in documenting the history of modern Pallisican society. Since the early 700's WG, three major newspapers have dominated the field of reporting on the events which have defined the evolution of the Realm of Passio-Corum: the Passasian Daily News, which documented the thirty years surrounding the establishment of the Passasian Regional Government and the rise and fall of Queen Mina, the Wallis Star, which documented the history of the Wallis Islands during its time as a protectorate of the Free State of Haifa, and the New Zimian Standard, which continues to document current events in the Greater Pallisican Trade Association.

The foremost of these is the Pallisican race - for whom the Greater Pallisican Trade Association is named - but other notable races include the Kralian peoples, who are regarded as the original indigenous inhabitants of Passas, the Haifan race, which originates along the Strait of Haifa in central Keltia, and the Gamesman race, which is indigenous to Corum. In addition to these races, Passio-Corum is home to an indeterminate population of Aead, a race of demons who are widely believed to originate on the planet Indigo.

The Greater Pallisican Trade Association is a theocratic, imperial, economic union governed by the Chief Moniker of the New Zimian Temple Authority. The nation's Constitution is based on that of the Kingdom of Hamland.
The government of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association can be broadly divided into three levels:
Crown of Passio-Corum
At the top of the Pallisican government exists the Crown of Passio-Corum. This office, which is occupied by the nation's ruler, exists to approve or reject legislation supported by the Council of Courts, and to issue decrees which reflect approved legislation.
Council of Courts
The Council of Courts exists to approve or reject legislation supported by the Houses of Corum. This level of the nation's government is comprised of at least four different offices. These include the Office of the Supreme Arbiter, the Office of the Chief Justice of the Secular Court, the Office of the Chief Justice of the Temple Court, and the Office of the President of the National Bank. Other offices which have been added since the Council's establishment include the Office of the Commander of the New Zimian War League, the Office of the Duke of Northman, and the Office of the Oracle.
The Pallisican Legislature, which is the only level of the nation's government which consists of elected officials, exists to support or reject legislation as it reflects the interests of the nation's citizenry. The legislature can be divided into two categories: The Houses of Corum, or the National Legislature, which serves to oversee legislation relating to the entire Realm of Passio-Corum, and the Houses of the Regions, of which there are many, and which serve to oversee legislation relating to the regions which each House represents. Legislation overseen by the Houses of Corum as well as the Houses of the Regions, typically relates to spending policy; the vast majority of legislative decisions relate to the possibility of expansion or reductions in investments in the nation's economy.
Five major political parties are represented within the Pallisican Legislature.
The New Zimian War League serves as the official military force of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association. Known for a high degree of organization and innovation, the New Zimian War League is one of the world's prominent fighting forces.
In addition to its victorious campaign in the War of Jingdaoese Aggression in the mid-830's, the New Zimian War League played a role in the Conquest of Port Brent, as well as an indirect, unofficial role in the Euran War.
The Pallisican Foreign Office is managed by the Supreme Arbiter of the Council of Courts.

The economy of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association is based upon the principles outlined by the great Passasian intellectual and leader, Opyeme Time, in his essay entitled "A Sustainable Economy".
The official marketplace of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association is Port of Storms. In addition to the Port of Storms, the government of Passio-Corum also enjoys access to the USSO Common Market, the official marketplace of the Union of States around the Sovereign Oceans, and the Port of Blore Heath, the marketplace of the Maritime Markets of the Strait of Haifa.
The primary currency of Passio-Corum is the Poli (P). The value of the Poli is derived from the level of investment in the nation's marketplace. Management of the nation's currency is overseen by the First National Bank of Passio-Corum. In addition to the Poli, the government of Passio-Corum also uses a secondary currency known as the Credit, which exists strictly within the Bank of the USSO.
The modern Pallisican Religion is rooted in belief systems which originated in Southwestern Keltia in the period following the collapse of the Republic of Passas. Today, the religion - which places a strict emphasis on the relationship between the three fundamental forces of order, chaos, and nature - plays a central role in Pallisican society. For a broad understanding of the religion's teachings, one may refer to the essay entitled, "On the Pallisican Religion".
More than perhaps any other country in world history, Passio-Corum has always placed a considerable focus on the study of life in Corum, and across Micras. As such, the nation has cataloged more types of plants and animals than any other nation. Many of the species which have been documented since the establishment of the Kingdom of New Zimia now play an important role in the economy of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association, especially animals such as Eeli-Illt-Eda and plants like Adraso-Oname.
