Northcliff International Airport bombing

The Northcliff International Airport bombing was a politically extremist inspired terrorist attack in Northcliff,Florian Republic (now Floria). On the 11th October 2017, a suicide bomber detonated whilst people were waiting for boarding flights in Terminal One, the largest terminal in the airport. Approx. Over 100 people were killed with another 140 being seriously injured. The attacker died in the incident. The bombing came after huge political tensions in the country.

Attack

On 11 October 2017 at 16:48 pm FST, a suicide bomber detonated an improvised nail bomb in the foyer area of terminal One at Northcliff International Aiport. The attack took place at peak time at the airport.

Aftermath

In 19:30 FST, it was announced that the killer's name was Max Sharpe. It was announced that all hospitals in Northcliff were full and that they started to heal all the injured victims. The airport was heavily damaged in the attack and the airport will be closed for three months.

In 19:30 FST, it was announced that the killer's name was Max Sharpe. He was 23 years old and was believed to be a follower of one of Floria’s Far-Right parties. He was born on the 11th May 1994 to a low-class Florian family from Dragonmoor. He had 3 brothers and 1 sister. He studied at St. Peters University in Dragonmoor but dropped out after two years. He had no previous criminal record and was not seen as a 'high risk' from the Florian Police.
