History

A land haunted by the spirits of a Gamesman war-band defeated centuries ago in a battle long-since lost to time, the region of Eastern Corum was in 30.44 PSSC the site of the first unsuccessful bid by the government of Passio-Corum to establish a colony beyond northern Corum. Originally settled and subsequently abandoned by Pallisican merchants attempting to tap into the rich natural gas reserves which lie to the west of York, the region of eastern Corum was re-claimed in 31.74 by the New Zimian War League, which settled the region as part of the newly established New Zimian Outer Realms.

History

Originally the capital of the Republic of Liga, the island of Voorpost was colonized by the New Zimian War League in 31.97 PSSC. Throughout its history, Voorpost has served as a focal point in Pallisican foreign relations. Most notably, it was the site of negotiations which resulted in the ratification of the Voorpost Pact, the treaty which allowed for the establishment of the USSO. With this said, Voorpost was also the base of operations for forces engaged in the Siege of Talenore, a military campaign successfully conducted by the War League during the War of Lost Brothers.

History

Established in 20.24 PSSC by the Kingdom of Batavia, Arcadia arrived at the center of international attention when in 36.70, the city became the primary headquarters of early Bassarid military operations in eastern Keltia during the War of Lost Brothers. In the period since the war, Arcadia has emerged as a vibrant trading community sustained - in addition to the ongoing material and economic support provided by the New Zimian War League - by a vibrant ivory industry.

History

First formally established in 29.16 PSSC as the northernmost port of the Free Cities, a short-lived confederacy which existed between a number of city-states in northwestern Eura, and later annexed by the Bassarid Trade Association as part of an effort to establish greater control over the Orange Sea during the War of Lost Brothers, Salonis is a city rooted in a deep and rich tradition surrounding the extensive cultivation of coconuts. The city is, with this in mind, also the home of a famous order of monastic barbers led by a man long ago cursed with immortality, which is collectively known as the Brethren of the Bearded Bandari Barberhood.

History

Named for its capital city which was first established in 23.99 PSSC, the Realm of Kota Baru is a vast, mountainous region which is located in the northwestern reaches of the Dependency of Tanah-Baru, and which is notably the home of a number of anti-imperialist, anti-Bassarid paramilitary forces. Since 39.74 PSSC, the New Zimian War League has maintained anti-insurgency efforts in the region, in an effort to protect trade routes and the merchants who travel along them between the cities of eastern Tanah-Baru and Fort Carol, which lies along the eastern shore of the Captive Sea.

In 40.83 PSSC the Realm of Kota Baru was placed - despite the protests of the government of the Dependency of Tanah-Baru - under the jurisdiction of the New Zimian Outer Realms, the territorial administrative body of the New Zimian War League. At noon on 91/02/42 - 42.50 PSSC - the Realm of Kota Baru was ostensibly granted political independence from the Outer Realms, though the New Zimian War League continued to retain a formidable presence in the highland region.
