To the Residents of the City formerly known as New Luanda:
The Kaikian Defense Force is now in control.
The Kaikias Settlement Bureau will be distributing information in the coming days on who will have their property confiscated for the purposes of Kaikian settlement. If you wish to remain on the island, you must take your paperwork to a Bureau office in order to receive compensation. Currently, the closest Bureau office is in Berea. A new office is scheduled to open locally in December 2010. If you wish to leave the island, your departure will be subsidized by the Kaikias Settlement Bureau.
To Facilitate Integration into the Province of Kaikias, let it be known that:
1. The name of this island is Sarakino, its Kaikian name. Its capital is renamed from New Luanda to Kallion. Any insistence to the contrary in official correspondence will be considered resistance.
2. As the first members of the Kaikian Defense Force to set foot on Sarakino were from No.3 Regiment, whose home station is Berea, Kallion will be officially considered a descendant of Berea in spirit. As such, a Temple to Iacchis will be commissioned in central Kallion.
3. Cooperation by indigenous residents would be appreciated. Only Commonwealth Citizens and Citizens of Friendly Nations benefit from the civil rights protection of Article I of the Commonwealth Constitution. Cooperate and earn citizenship in your new home.
4. Resistance will not be tolerated.

Your dispatch to Sarakino is noted.
Let it be known that all aircraft launched to and from you will be escorted during your time within the area of Kaikias. A single civilian airstrip outside of Kallion will be opened for your usage.
It would be appreciated if you were to lend your services to expedite the departure of any residents who wish to leave.
May your presence in Kaikian territory remain amicable.

As for the map, it's been something I've been working on for a while.

To: Baron Octavius.
We will indeed evacuate citizens who wish to leave and they may be deposited on merchant ships heading for Britannia at our convenience.
The air escort isn't necessary but it is assumed we have no choice and so will tollerate it. We thank you for the use of the airstrip.
Regards,
St Charles' Medical Corps High Command

HMS Varjina has been diverted from Kumarastan to Sarakino to monitor the situation and, if it should prove necessary, render fraternal assistance to the Antican and Britannic forces in the region.
It's been a slow week hasn't it.

Gralus would like to issue a statement asking for clarification on the Antican actions and whether they constitute an unprovoked act of war against Vanderveer. If so, Gralus condemns the actions of Vanderveer and seeks for negotiations rather than fighting. If it helps, it is willing to facilitate such talks.
