Passas 2-0 Interland
Łukasz Dąbrowski became a jinx as he sunk his home nation after coming off the bench in this tightly-fought match.
Interland had the upper hand for the most of the first half, only a handful of excellent saves from East kept Passas on level scoring terms. The best of Interland's chances came near the end of the half, after Stede Bonny gifted them with a corner. Filip Maskat's extremely deep cross picked out Dariusz Drzewny at the opposite side of the box. Drzewny lined-up a superb left-footed volley, which swerved through the crowded penalty area before crashing into the Passasian crossbar.
The second half didn't bring as much luck to the Interlandians. Passas broke early from the kick-off, and James Custis' header off Stephen Glasgow's cross was the perfect tonic to lower Interland's esteem. Dąbrowski then came on with 25 minutes remaining. His energy and youthfulness seemed too much for Interland to cope with, and with time almost up, he tricked his way past Andrzej Anders, who had been in top form prior to this meeting. Dąbrowski then, with a deft touch, dinked the ball over the diving Kepp to knock Interland out at the quarters.
Cräiteland 3-1 New South Vietnam
New South Vietnam looked to have started another surprise in this round with their superb start to the game, after surprising a few people in reaching the quarter-finals in the first place.
They went one up after 20 minutes, when Phan Hoang Trần skipped past Manta Pellegrino's tackle, and ran for the line. He poked in an early cross, before Jon Larsen could challenge him, and Đặng Minh Thach leaped up above Zóma-ó-Täó and powered in his header past Vorgensen.
Cräiteland saved a life-line with five minutes to spare before half-time, when Alexis Tereminus threaded through Freddie Gaärsen, who first-timed his shot under the Ripon City Magnets' Dương Văn Minh.
Cräiteland hit their winners early in the second half, clearly being told by their manager to kill the game off quickly. Freddie Gaärsen got his second of the match with a two-yard tap-in thanks to some good play and an inch-perfect pass from Hänä Zensen. Zensen then got the all-important third on 54 minutes when he won and took a free-kick just outside the "D". Nguyễn Hữu Văn was the guilty party, with a late lunge on Zensen. He was puniched with a yellow card, whereas New South Vietnam were punished with losing the match.

Meh... If we qualify to quarter finals, we always play with Passas. And we never win with them . But quarters are good too

Semi-Finals
Passas 1-0 Nova England
The hosts were narrowed out at the last hurdle by Passas and their youthful strikeforce, and forced to play in their second thrid-place play-off in as many tournaments.
A tight game generally, with neither team giving the other many chances. The best Nova English chance came with ten minutes remaining in the first half. A deflected Austonov cross was headed down by Sorrel to the feet of Peterson, whose snapped effort went agonisingly wide of the post.
Passas, again, brought on their super-sub, 17 year-old Łukasz Dąbrowski at half time. He partnered Phillip Sherman, himself only 21 years old, and their play broke down Nova England's defence. Sherman it was who scored the eventual winner, after 67 minutes of play. Dąbrowski was vital in the build-up, playing two one-twos with Verkslamp and Pazi, respectively, before chipping the ball over the defence to find Sherman. His first touch was poor, but he managed to get a good contact on the ball with his second touch, good enough in fact to beat Larkin at the post.
Passas had the chance to double their lead with 14 minutes left. Sherman was pulled down 23 yards from goal by Austonov. Dąbrowski picked himself to take the resulting free-kick, and his curling strike hit the post before Austonov cleared the ball before any of the Passasians could react to finish it off.
Riponia 1-1 Cräiteland 5-4 pens.
An even tighter game in the second semi-final, with the continental majority facing up against their small close island neighbours. It was the larger nation who took the lead after only nine minutes. Tristán Lennon found Alex Kiker with a low, curling cross from his right wing. Kiker, who himself plays in Cräiteland's football league, hit a fantastic goal from the 18-yard line. With the outseide of his right boot, he managed to curl the ball around Vorgensen, and into the top corner spot he picked before he took the shot.
Cräiteland were stunned after hoping to not give away an early goal, but they managed to pull another back only 20 minutes later. Some good defensive passing out-foxed the Riponian midfield, which let Markko Edmildón to race down his left side. His cross was flicked on by Alexis Tereminus, over Christian Mackintosh, and straight onto the right boot of Freddie Gaärsen. Gaärsen hit the ball from eight yards, on the volley, past Smith before he could realise.
The second half brought nothing of as much interest as the first, and the game ended all equal. Another penalty shoot-out to decide who went through to the next round; this time the next round being the final. Cräiteland went first.

Craitish captain, Manta Pellegrino's, penalty was saved fantastically by John Smith, with the 'keeper diving to his left and getting a strog palm on Manta's slightly weak shot. Jermaine Routledge improved on his previous penalty take, and went for power over placement. That proved decisive as his shot thundered past Vorgensen, who went the wrong way.

Passas - Riponia Preview
Sunday 4th November
After several weeks of hard fighting, this is the final round. Riponia being a bigger nation and having a organised league, the nation is entering their first ever final in the national team (Port Rackham Rangers the only Riponian team to have continental success in the Champion's League). Passas have reached many finals, both nationally and clubwise as well, with the Under-21's reaching the U21 World Cup Final and both Real Regulators and United Republic FC but have failed to break their Final jinx. Passas almost got to every final but in the World Cup they fell out to eventual champions Cräiteland in the Semi-Final. West Grinstead National stadium is in for a great match tomorrow.
Riponia and Passas have never met at full international level, only once in U21 so both teams know hardly anything about each other? Or don't they? Both Riponia and Passas have very young squads, with players such as Theodore Sinclair (Riponia) and Lukasz Dabrowski (Passas) being former U-21 players. Both teams have very young squads, along with experienced captains Christian Mackintosh and Nick Verkslamp. This is going to be a head to head game.
Riponia Alex Kiker has reported to be given a injection after taking a knock in the Semi-Finals v Cräiteland. This seems to be a risky decision from the Riponian team but no player would want to miss out on a final. On other hands, Sa Pazi is set to receive a start in the final but only on the left wing and Custis stays ahead of Glasgow in the right wing order. Eddie van Heart returns to the team after passing a late fitness test and looks set to play a part in the final after sitting out the last 2 games with a twisted ankle and a dead leg.
But moving onto the dangermen. Riponia have 3 threats to the Passaseans. Lewis Prescott is probably one of Micras most under-rated players but his work rate is extremely high. His last-minute venom shot against Leon & Venezia in the World Cup in Summer showed to be too much for the keeper and salvaged a point for his country. Content to stay rather deep, he will be one of the guys to stop Dabrowski and Sherman. He'll have to be on his performance. Also with him is Theo Sinclair, who's experienced both Riponian and Passasean football, so he's got the knowledge, but he also got alot of flair and pace and the winger-turn-striker action might come to plan if Passas's defence can't cope with him. Just to mention Tristán Lennon, a new face to the team also has the same qualities so Sinclair may start up front alongside the final threat Alex Kiker. Even with an injection, he's a good player and has some experience so the utility target man may be used in some way.
Passas have their share of good players. Lukasz Dabrowski is probably one of the deadliest players of his generation. The 17 year old sunk his own country Interland for Passas. Despite struggling to pick off, Dabrowski has made a name for himself in the World Cup, scoring bizarre but spectacular goals. He's won over the fans but will he be able to win over the trophy? He'll be the major threat to the Riponian alongside Philipp Sherman, just 21 as well, the striker possesses great pace and is similar to the Speedy Cräite Freddie Gaärsen, he'll also be a match for Riponia as he is similar to Sinclair. Nick Verkslamp will be a huge influence in the team. Spurring on most players, he can pickup the team and make them focus. A key member of both club and country, this guy may play as a attacking midfielder, but his defensive capabilities are still questioned, that's why Passas are lucky to have Eddie van Heart back to act the holding role as he pushes forward. And finally, if you challenge the defence, there's always Oscar Hurtado. This 6ft 2 player may not be Passasean by birth but qualifies through citizenship. Hurtado will be the rock of the defense and if the Riponians want to try pass the defense, he'll be the one to stop them.
