As all the sectors need to get their qualifying rounds done, it's also the time for the WMFA qualification round.

The WMFA has been allocated three FMF World Cup spots for 2010, and the eight national teams in this region will be split into two groups of four. The teams will play their fellow group members once at home and once away, with the two group winners (after all games) qualifying for the World Cup. The two group runners-up will then go on to play a two-legged play-off (home and away) against each other, with the winner on aggregate taking the final WMFA spot in this year's World Cup.

The group draw for this sector's qualifying and the fixtures will be announced soon. Unless we are notified of any preferred changes, players for the competing teams will be chosen from the last squad submitted for an FMF competition and from known players at clubs in FMF-affiliated nations (or even created, where necessary).
