Cräiteland 3-3 Hurmu

The 2007 champions Cräiteland managed to rescue a point after being stunned after Hurmu took the game to them.
The Craitish were expected to play and dictate the game however the Hurmu camp were up for the game and believed they could get a result. It seemed they were right as they took the lead with Kristján Vidarsson scoring the first goal just before the break after finding a gap in between the defence left by Dehbo, to run on a slide it pass keeper Jack Vorgensen, who had no chance.
Shockingly, Hurmu controlled the possesion during the first half and Cräiteland just couldn't break the Hurmu back 4. Coming back out for the 2nd half, the Craitish mood was shaky, if not shocked within the first half.
The Hurmu dream continued though as on the 47th minute, Aki Mäenpää scored another goal after a Tommy Gamst crossed the ball from the left for Mäenpää to volley it in with his left foot.
While the fans in blue were jumping up and down, Craitish fans were silent. They knew they needed something special to get back into game however the time came on the 75th minute where Markko Edmildón took his man and tried to shoot from the edge of the box but only hitting the post, leaving Freddie Gaärsen to knock the rebound in unchallenged to make it 2-1.
Cräiteland were back in the game, but needed to find another goal, and with 3 minutes to play Freddie Gaärsen scored yet again after smashing home a low driven cross.
Hurmu almost pegged back immediately but due to Jack Vorgensen, nothing was going past him as he reached to push away Encke's shot, only to concede a foul a minute later after Encke was tripped.
Into the injury time, Hurmu had a free kick 30 yards out, with Gamst stepping away for Mäenpää to shoot. Hurmu fans were questioning the decision, but it was the correct one as Mäenpää scored his second of the game to put Hurmu up 3-2 after powering a shot that Vorgensen couldn't do anything about.
However the lead was only temporarily as Hanast went out aggressive and found another goal to level it.
And right before the whistle, Larsen was given a chance to put Cräiteland into the lead after Hjular was sent off for taking out Gaärsen's legs. The Free Kick initially was wasted from a good position but the clearance only went to Larsen who kicked the ball back in to Freddie Gaärsen who unbelievably missed out a chance of a hat-trick after losing balance and putting the shot high and wide.
Overall, Cräiteland must be shocked after drawing to such a mediocre squad compared to their likes.

Bobalania v Hamland
Two newcomers with big expectations. Two teams with high hopes of going far. Bobalania have got a professional league setup however Hamland won all 10 of their qualifying matches. This should be an interesting game.
Hamland will look at George Johnson, who is hoping to score 3 more during the World Cup period to make his international goal count hit 20, to secure his rank as all time Hammish top goalscorer.
But it's not all about one man, there's 10 other players for the White and Blues and they will all be trying to prove that they qualified because of their talent, not by the luck of the draw.
Bobalania on the other hand had a very tough task and only scraped past Jamzinia to a playoff place, beating New Vaduz 4-2. Sam Hyeland is the form striker going into the match however Matt Bailey will be another key member in goal, who looks set to redeem himself after not having the best of matches in the playoff.
Teams
Bobalania (4-4-2): M Bailey, Bobagota, Ayub, B Bailey, Farkle, Qwerty, Bowie, Liotta, Turner, Norman, Hyeland
Hamland (4-4-2): MacLeod, Kartiksti, O'Malley, Summers, MacIntyre, Brown, Martin, Locksley, Scott, Johnson, Craig
